It is becoming a valuable distribution system that is attracting attention from firms other than Valve to use for their software. I've become a big fan and have used it for a number of recent game purchases.

I just called a BestBuy near me and asked them to hold a copy till later today (6pm CST). I'd go all night playing except Wednesdays are long days for me .

After buying ETQW from Steam, I decided not to buy any more games that way that are available in the store. They should discount it for you if you buy it from Steam, because their costs are a lot less.. no distribution costs, no packaging costs... oh well. I'll be buying it tommorow unless I read things here that suggest I shouldn't waste my money.
