You know...if what you say is true Chris then why dont we see screen shots of hackers going 112 -3 in I/O more often?

EDIT....I have never seen a KDR even close to that in I/O (i specifically mention I/O because that score is totally doable in vehicles).

It must have taken a bunch of complete morons running straight into this guy. I would have loved to see that round from the hackers point of view. My guess is that it would have looked like a round from "House of the Dead". A bunch of moron zombies running directly into his line of site getting mowed down 1 by 1.

      Yourself...?
When you get back to me with clear knowledge with the difference between "hard" and "impossible", you can turn in those papers indicating lack of intelligence.

None if those apply for teamwork. Its not hard to cooperate. Not at all. Well, unless your mentally challenged tho...
Its not hard to cooperate? Its not hard to tell the squad "follow me" if thats what you mean, but if you think its easy to coordinate 3 squads in BF2 in real time, you are simply lying to get the point across. Cooperation and coordination actually requires both parties to understand their objectives and work with each other to accomplish this. ElFlipso described the standard "play off others" type of gameplay which many, many people do and I am reluctant to call that "teamwork". At best, its vague coordination.

      1. If coordination between squads is possible in PR, why shouldnt it be possible in BF2?
      2. Noone said that you should attack the hacker. Can you please read what ppl are writing here instead of pulling stuff out of your ***?
      1. Cooperation between 3 squads in BF2 in real time is extremely timeconsuming, takes a lot of effort and most of all, lacks a solid medium of communication. Its something you see in clan matches, you almost never see this in pub games. In standard BF2 games, its something that is impossible to achieve. And were talking about 3 squads of 6 infantry players. What you described in PR isnt even that hard. From a pilots perspective, responding to a spotted target takes zero effort, spotting a target takes even less.

I havent even gone off the topic yet. Were talking about Karkand IO, a map which is very linear, closed and confined, where everyone is playing as an infantry grunt, thus meaning you dont have a force multiplier to equalise the game with a hacker.

      2. Ive responded to that same BS too many times. No matter where you go or what you do, you will come across the hacker eventually. Flipso is focusing on capturing the flags past Hotel, but eventually he WILL have to go back to take that flag, and if he wont, his teammates will and will simply provide the cheater with tickets to take.

You know that you won an arguement when the other guy starts insulting you. Cheers!
I think that Chris has problems with understanding text...
Why oh why cant ppl read...
Can you please read what ppl are writing here instead of pulling stuff out of your ***?
Youve lost the argument a long time ago.

A 40:1 KDR is indeed a rarity when it comes to a hacker. This guy was skilled and used hacks. From my observation, a frontline hacker (engaged in capping flags and whatnot) has a KDR anywhere between 5 and 20. Take someone who has people coming straight at them, and the KDR will jump dramatically.

It must have taken a bunch of complete morons running straight into this guy. I would have loved to see that round from the hackers point of view. Only Red can answer this, but I guess the suckers just rushed one flag and all he had to do was to mow them down. The ranks are average and teams are balanced, who knows what was going on there.

So what you have is two options.

a). Attack the hacker and lose
b). Adapt your play style to ensure you don;t encounter the hacker

Both of which result in nothing because the hacker will always have someone else to kill and because you're limited yourself to staying away from his field of fire, which given the fact he's hacking could prove to be quite some area, then you're objective is to simply survive and scrap what little points you can. The hackers wins he gets his points and as many folk have said doesn;t matter how many flags you capture chances are you'll still lose the round because of the rate of tickets the hacker is gaining.

So everyone else suddenly adopts your tactics and stay away from the hacker, well it's not like the hacker can't move either.

          The only option is

c). Leave the server, their are tons of servers avaliable and chances are that their is at least another 2 servers running a game almost identical to the one you're leaving. You win you've denied the battle. If everyone leaves the hacker has no one to kill, you win because you're now playing a proper game and he loses because he has no one to shoot and chances are when he tries to get in to another server he'll encounter an admin who will ban and report him.

Where did you people learn to read? Where in any of the posts did you see us say "avoid" the hacker? If we wanted to "avoid" the hacker we would just leave the server. Im not even going to repeat myself because you will probably read it wrong.

Thank you Chris for admitting that we can win against the hacker. A thing you negated in your previous posts.

Yes you did generalise saying: You can't beat a hacker, hackers will always win. Teamwork will never win against hackers. Well, as you admitted that "teamstacking" will be able to win against the hacker you took away your previous generalisation.
Btw, what the hell do you with "teamstacking"? This is a lousy attempt to not use the word "teamwork", what would make you admit that you were wrong all the time.

And it is not hard to get 3 squads coordinated, it just takes 3 squads that know how to play the game. It is, though, rarely happening at IO Karkand. So I mentioned the "passive" teamwork where you "play off others". You don't think that's teamwork?? And you are telling me that you are such a great teamworker just soloing in a chopper and taking out spotted targets when all you do is really playing off others! Think.

As you said, a moving hacker won't have that impact on the game cause his k/d would only be arund 20:1, which is a k/d of a lot of skilled IO players. So no problem with that hacker.

You're a jet pilot. what do you know of "taking flags"? Capturing flags is essential if you want to win the round! You could NEVER win a round without capturing flags. And sure, it is essential to defend and keep the flags you have. Most look different from above..

and I don't get the video thing you posted.

@Nicofurious: I said that, in order to win the round against the "Hotel hacker" you should NOT engage the hacker but "avoid" going in his direction and capture other flags. It is difficult to win against the hacker in a 1 vs. 1 situation when you don't know where he is but he know you're coming. So just go around and ignore him. Best situation would be capturing the Factory side of the river and fight and cap your way back to the Hotel. You are then able to attack from 3 sides (square, left US spawn, right US spawn). Let's see where the aimbot aims when he gets attacked from 3 sides. :salute:

You are absolutely correct Chris. The hacker will eventually move to where the fighting is... What can your teamwork tactic do agaisnt someone that can scroll his mouse from left to right killing every one thats miles away, knowing exactly where your tactical squad of pubbing that sticks together.
Elfipso and Nicfurious you guys make me laugh, because everything you both have been basing your tactics on seems more to me like you were basing it on one team vs 1 hacker. You forget he's got a team and medic whore squad backing him up as well.
In my honest opinion you guys should leave your PR tactics out of vanilla.
I totally agree with the team work part, sure if my whole clan was in there yes it would be pretty possible. This team work you guys speak of that can over come a hacker in a pub game is a pretty rare site.

LOL. Ill load up some hacks, devastate your team and win the round and you can tell me all about "tactics" afterwards.
Hey Elfipso how come none of you have answered this quote yet?

Its one of those cases where a lot of "what ifs" fall into a place. Your team must be able to kill more of the hackers teammates than the hacker, along with his teammate, kills yours. Flags or no flags, game ends when one team has lost all of their tickets.

Btw, what the hell do you with "teamstacking"? This is a lousy attempt to not use the word "teamwork", what would make you admit that you were wrong all the time.
Teamstacking has nothing to do with teamwork. I think Ive been very clear on the difference. Teamstacking, as you know, is the grouping of all of the skilled players onto one side.

Think.
Its mild coordination. Playing off others. Sure, its a form of teamwork, but youre making it look as if its the mother of all monsters when it comes to cooperation. Its not. Its the simpliest and most blunt method, but its efficiency is questionable. You yourself tried to tell me that you can play off 2 squads to attack the flag the hacker is at. Thing which will never happen because playing off others in tactical (or micro) level is something so unpredictable, that youre still left to fend for yourself. And 3 squads doing just that? Thats utopia, a dream.

As you said, a moving hacker won't have that impact on the game cause his k/d would only be arund 20:1, which is a k/d of a lot of skilled IO players. So no problem with that hacker.
Thats 20 tickets taken per one ticket given. Unless your team has exceptional players to beat his rate of "PWNAGE!!!!11", his team should be sucking with a whistle in order to compensate.

You're a jet pilot. what do you know of "taking flags"? Capturing flags is essential if you want to win the round! You could NEVER win a round without capturing flags. And sure, it is essential to defend and keep the flags you have. Most look different from above..
I know more than you think. For one, Ive been playing with hackers more than you have, most definitely. I play S4 with no anticheat, where hacks are so sophisticated and specialised, that it feels like playing against Neo in the Matrix. In BF2, I am used to playing with a tight knit group, so I know where teamwork fails and where it doesnt. I was also engaged in a boatload of clan scrims in SWAT4, so I dont really question my abilities as a teamplayer since a lot of it transfered to BF2.

                    And finally,
You could NEVER win a round without capturing flags.
is ******** and you know it. You can take a helo or a jet, and kill faster than the combination of bleed and opposing teams can, if youre skilled. Same applies. You dont have to take all the flags, but if you keep a stalemate, and youre skilled enough to mow them down faster than they mow you down, you can usually win the game. This game isnt about flags, its about tickets.

and I don't get the video thing you posted.
I posted 2 hacker videos, but I deemed it inappropriate and took them off. You can go watch hacker videos, place yourself in their shoes and think whether or not you would be capable of taking out 3 "passively coordinating" squads. I know I would, without breaking a sweat.

LOL. RedxInk, you were the one whining about the hacker. And if you can't deal with a hacker and you think you never will, then leave the server.
Btw, I don't even play PR. Since 1.41 I mainly play IO and most of the times on Karkand, so I now very well what I'm talking about. And I also said, that teamwork is not always happening there, that's exactly what we said in the very first answers on you question "How to beat the hacker", which was: "You need teamwork".
Nicofurious and I never said, that every team would win the round against this hacker, but a team that knows how to work together can. But you know, reading posts well is not a skill that a lot of ppl here master. Specially Chris who just scans the post, picks some quotes and flames without reading the words before and after the specific quote.

About answering Chris' post about him uploading a hack an pwning us beyond belief. There's nothing to answer. It's just another imature "I pwn you all post" to ignore.

I don't know what we keep discussing about this. I know a good team can win against a team with a hacker (maybe not every round, but it's possible). You think you can't, so we could settle this at this point because I don't think this would come to an end.

You yourself tried to tell me that you can play off 2 squads to attack the flag the hacker is at.
omg, Chris which post DID you read?? *sigh* Never did I say that and I tried to clarify it in every post I made since you never got it. No I DID NOT say to attack the flag the hacker is at. ridiculous...It is really useless to have a discussion with you when you always ignore statements that work against your opinion.

Chris: feel free to have you final word, as always

I see hackers going 70-3 or greater once a week or so in IO. I can tell they're hacking straighht away - usually have an rpk and will head shot you whilst they're standing up, not even prone, despite me hopping like the easter bunny.

I'm a very good IO player, so if I'm getting pwned repeatedly by ridiculously silly shots then I can tell straight away (on my IO account I have a kdr of well over 2, accuaracy of 24% and an SPM of nearly 5 - most of which gained at 130+ ping).

My suspicion is then confimed by looking at bf2tracker and seeing that their name isnt their real name. Or they show on PBbans but the server cant have been streaming properly.

The reason you don't see screenshots from me is there's no point in posting them, it would just be another pointless "Some w/\nker was hacking on xxx server" thread. Nothing gets done. Half the nubs on the server dont even vote for the kick vote.

I completely understand that you meant "you and your hack". Still you meant yourself in person.
And your statement would imply that you go out with the intention to kill me/my squad. I still think that the usual Karkand IO aimbot hacker stays at Hotel and shoots US at the US spawns.
I also said (repeat, repeat, repeat) that it is quite possible for the hacker to be on the square roof or even on the factory roof and that that would make a big difference. But as the original post meant that the hacker killed "everyone on his path to HOTEL" I don't think he was at square/factory.
Even if he was, the is quite a lot of cover when going to Suburb. With a medic squad it is possible to reach it. Yes, I know you will answer that it is so hard to get a "medics only" squad. It isn't.

I completely understand that you meant "you and your hack". Still you meant yourself in person.
No you dont. I "meant" that if I was using a hack against your whole squad, you wouldnt stand a chance. And "pwning" would imply that you would suck hard, which obviously you dont. The whole implication was on the fact that you will not be able to outplay the extra advantages that are working for me, doing the game for me. And again, not because youre lacking in skill. You saw and misunderstood it as a degrading remark, I was just stating cold and hard truth with no intentions of putting you down.

It isn't.
Once again, were on square 1. You cant seem to understand that in order for you to win, you need to kill faster than the hacker by killing his teammates and pushing the bleed over to the opposing team. In order to balance out that 40:1 KDR and 100+ kills, the opposition must suck and your team should consist of good players which would imply to teamstacking. Yes, you can win like that.

My argument would actually be that if I was a hacker, I would just go to intercept you as you would leave the suburbs. Recap the flag and meet you at Hotel again. Medics in IO arent hard to come by.

Ok, let's settle this "pwning" crap. But in the end you would intercept me and my squad when I leave Suburb, good, what about the other squad going right train accident or cement factory, which would be my strategy (and hopefully the strategy of the others lol)?

The round where the screenshot was taken was already lost. No strategy or whatever would have turned the thing around, I said that before. But a fresh round would be a new start. With the adequate strategy the hacker would not have that good possibility to score kill that many ppl and be that important for the ticket bleed. He would be forced to move (if he likes) and stop camping. less ppl will go from US hills to Hotel as they are hopefully spawning at another captured flag. As I said, once you captured a flag other than Hotel and you have a decent team, the round can go many other ways...not always favouring the hackers team.
