Even though spawn camping with apc's and such was rampant on karkand,it made the server feel well more exciting you go on a io server,you just dont get that vibe,its more of a "time to get points",while on a veh server its more like "lets go kick some ***!"

i dont know, karkand doesnt feel like a vehicle server because you can only fit armor, and with the player base no one is smart enough to go AT. now...oman is a vehicle server because you have armor AND air support, then AA guns and tank to take em out, its all in the circle of life

Try'd playing a server with vehicles? Its still here, you know :hmm:




IO is fun, but it gets boring after a few hours. Thats why I often change between IO and vehicle servers. After a while, IO feels lifeless and sometimes you wish you would be blown up by a tank or jet.

regular BF2 with vehicles is the sh*t, I dont care for IO

Well i used to play on this TV2 server and it was Karkand with vehicles that was awesome, but then a patch came and....Well ruined it all

I definetly miss vehicles.

Karkand and Warlord are good maps either way, but to me at least, IO ruins it.

For instance on Karkand it just turns into a giant meat grinder south of the hotel, and you do the same things over....and over...andover again.

On Warlord with IO, it turns into Insurgents camping the parachute spawn with RPKs.

Vehicles offered a more fast paced map, and while camping with vehicles is bad, you can camp just as well with an assault rifle. What's the difference if he kills you before you see him?

I find vehicle rounds to last much much longer than IO.

BF2 isn't the same with out tanks and planes. IO is no teamwork, just be a medic and heal others. Thats why I play at the only good and POPULAR Karkand with TANKS.

Moongamers 24/7 Karkand (NOT IO)

Like some1 said, tanks / jets can change the tide of the game in a second.
