I liked the pre-nerfed MP7 too, it was very effective.
It is still a pretty decent smg now although I will take a pumpaction over it.

For CQC the jackhammer is superior, but MP7 is better in medium range where the shotguns can't reach.
I'd take also the MEC shotgun S12K simply for being semi auto, but I don't like the USMC and PLA pump action shotguns because by the time the next shell reloads somebody else will kill you.

I would prefer to use the shock paddles over the MP7, more fun and satisfying too.

Its a good gun once you learn how to use it, but i still prefer the mp5.

The MP7 is really underestimated, and is a good alternative to the shotguns, but it's never gonna replace my precious M11-87.:nod:

o man M11 shotgun is deadly. its good for clearing up the alleys in karkand. my fav Smg is P90 tho. it was used alot in some old anime show called "Gunslinger Girl" <--good show. plus ..50 bullet magazine > 40 bullets

I'll agree with most of this except I don't use the MP7 at all; at medium range I just use the pistol or I hide. Playing mostly AT and engineer you get a lot of practice with the pistols (which are more accurate and do more damage than the SMGs).
