i find it shocking that people can use the P90 successfully, kind of the same thing.
There is no secret to the P90. It spews out bullets like crazy. You've just got to use the recoil to your advantage. Aim at the neck go full or 3 bullet burst and you'll have x-number of bullets going for his head.
The SRAW/Eyrx beats all machine guns... I just wait with my AT weapon until they go prone and I just one hit kill them because they're so easy to hit since they're stationary...

Only that the rockets are so ridiculously slow and weak in this game they oppose no real threat to good players.

Only works in close quarters. Any ranged attacks the LMG's will mow you down. They only have to put 2-4 bullets into you. You have to wait till the AT missile travels to them. The whole time your in scope so you have less mobility. LMG users still have the option of doing a bunny hop:

Prone -> Crouch -> Stand -> Jump -> Prone.
Using the scope is a suicide. I never do it, long or close range, and I always hit the thing I`m aiming at. At times I just line up the shot and fire away without pulling the scope up or homing the rocket.

If you dont in long range and manage to hit then you must play with some pretty poor competition. Any experienced BF2 Player gets the hint to move when they see an AT rocket comming towards them in an unguided trajectory.

Yeah, against infantry but with tanks, vehicles and just dumb-f*cks, who don`t know what to do, it works well.
I usually do it like Javelins do, go up in an arch then bring it down. I dunno if AT still gives the warning alarm when not-scoped but just to be sure, I don`t directly aim at the target till the last moment.
Against infantry that is shooting at me and moving I still use a scope.
The AT rockets are sweet in killing infantry because most of the time (since the blast radius is small, you usually need a direct hit), they do exactly that. The enemy doesn't just get critically wounded, they are killed = no possibility of being revived.
But we digress, the MG36 is the topic here... I find it to be ok, I used it once and did fairly well with it. But as with all the guns in this game, while some may be worse than others stat-wise, good players will make the most seemingly garbage gun a tool of destruction.
Scope is usefull in long range because if they start to creep back you can have the rocket lower its self on the other side of the hill which will kill them. When they see an AT rocket coming they usally have only 3 seconds from after its launcehd to notice it, stand, run away. Most of the time they dont have time to get away unless the rocket is coming at them from the area they are looking at.
