As a pilot, vehicle AA's are the worst. Static AA is easy as you know where they are all the time if you know the map, hence know where to fly to evade them.

I just wish the guns did as much damage as the APC cannons.

But apparently DICE was more concerned with keeping the jet whores happy.

When I can see a target with my eyes, but yet it's too far to lock onto with the my missiles, there's a problem.

I like nothing more than watching my team going crazy with the vehicle MG's to take down a chopper and then stealing the glory with 1 shot from an M95 as soon as it lights on fire. :laugh:

Also lots of fun to take down a chopper with tank shells.

I love doing that. Blackhawk kills are the best.
I usually pistol the burning heli.

Stealing kills can`t get more fun.

.50cals on hummers are THE most effective against choppers.

Doesn't give them a lock warning, usually they're too stupid to see or notice where it's coming from, and it's just a steady stream of bullets toward them until they expload.

whenever me and tomeis are playing gulf of oman he would spawn as support and i would spawn as a sniper, then we would go to the crane at the construction site and whenever we saw a helicopter fly by (transport or attack) we would both shoot at it, usually making it smoke and sometimes even destroying it

The missiles are pretty much this same, this game is made by DICE, it has to be. The PLA and MEC AA vehicles have a higher ROF than the linebacker. Thus, more chances they'll hit a jet. Jet's don't have that much armor, and those can do a lot of damage if used properly. I've hardly been damaged or even hit by a linebacker's turret.

Stinger and Strela would have been awesome in BF2, they are in ArmA. Too bad the dumbf*cks at DICE didn`t think of the most basic things while making this game.

They arent dumb****s. They just didnt anticipate BF2 players skill level to go trough the roof. Of course they didnt do sh!t to match it either. BF2 1.0 on LAN is a whole different ballgame of missile connectivity.
