    Re: M16/M4 "flick"

The mag release on the Canadian M4 Diemarco is on the left hand side, I presumed it would have been the same for the American M rifles?

In SWAT4, during the M4 reloading animation, the forward assist knob isnt being pushed. Instead a button on the left side of the magazine well is being pushed. Any comments on that?

auto lock the bullet by a button and not a lever?

No, magazine release is on the left side. I have a Vietnam-era M16A2. I'm pretty sure that beats your fake BB gun.

Magazine release is on the right hand side. The BOLT-CATCH-RELEASE is on the left hand side.
This is something that has to be set when you take the rifle apart. If the bolt-catch isn't activated, the bolt will not stay open after firing the last round. It can be turned off, but I believe most soldiers have it where it stays open.

Even the Vietnam era gun will not save you from your utter stupidity. What you fail to realize, in your "glorious" attampt at being a smartas5, is that maybe were talking the same thing, but looking from a different side of the gun?

Note the magazine release on the RIGHT side of the weapon when looking from the butt of the gun.

And for your information, "fake BB guns" are made cosmetically as accurately as possible. But its always nice to see a retard jump into a thread, thinking that him owning a "real gun" can man him up somewhat.

Guess what, your "Vietnam era" gun was a waste of money because taking all evidence into account, it has just made you more retarded than you were.

Congrats, you have once again justified the phrase "gun nut".

It is not on the right side. There are seldom rifles in the world with it on the right. It is on the left.

Need I post any more pictures? You sir, are a fool and should do some research before you openly flame someone like you did in your post. The reason why the release catch is on the left is so you don't accidentally trigger it with your trigger finger. On many rifles there are few things on the right hand side so you don't catch them by accident in the heat of combat.

Dumb sh!t. You just proved my argument and I didnt have to work that hard to do it anyway. Congrats.

Tired of dealing with "gun nuts" that think their time invested in world.guns.ru has done any good for their common sense or communication and comprehension skills.

Just to explain this on the level of blatant basics. RIGHT side, when you are looking down the gun from the butt, when youve taken the gun to your shoulder. Majority of the people in this world are right handed so naturally M4/M16 magazine release is located on the right side of the gun.

Before you gun nuts started bragging with your exceptional "knowledge" you should have considered a possibility where we were talking about the same thing. Whats funny, is that I still didnt get an answer to my question and had to go to wiki to research it.

                      GG.

From his description, no. Unless he is talking about the magazine catch underneath it. But that is not a control, it's just whats connected to the otherside of the mag release button.
