Going back on the Chinook suggestion, if it were larege enough you could probably fit vehicles into it, man that would be cool.


And here's another suggestion:
BRING BACK THE AIRLIFITNG OF BFV!

Not the actual gameplay of BFV but the airlifting with the rope onto vehicles and also you could make it so that there is a heap of supply boxes at you base that can be picked up with an attached rope to a yet-to-be-decided chopper or an A10 (I think that's what their called) and you physically have to drop them off for teammates instead of random falling from the sky.

Hardcoded, I don't think you people know anything about the limitation of Battlefield 2 engine. This isn't one of those things that you can come up with your mind because you think its cool, but whether its possible to make it in game or not.

He just found a pic on the internet of a Chinook model and called it his own.

I am really disappointed. Snake Doctor, you have lost all credibility in my eyes. Taking something off the internet and claiming it as your own is one of the lowest things you can do.

I say PR would be performance optimized a little bit, and add some scoped weapons like HK or G36 series :P

A performance boost would be nice, but I don't think the G36 weapons are used by any of the factions currently in PR. :)

Some form of static artillery would be pretty cool, deployed by the commander it could a pretty slow reload time and as for aiming maybe SLs should call grid reference on the map or something..

Artillery should have a wider spread with a lot more ammunition being put down too.

Also, personally, the AK-47 is... uh... yeah, no. The AKM, or the AK74 would be much better. Maybe the AKM for the Insurgents, and the AK74 for the Militia.

It'd also be nice to have Airdrop kits, that's something I really miss from Vanilla to PR. Parachuting from a UH-60 and surprising the enemy. It would be really useful on 7-gates, airdropping into the fortified position of the Chinese team, from a Merlin.

Re. The G36: Maybe the introduction of a German team. Dunno what theatre they'd show up.

Jesus, you almost gave me a heart attack until I realised you were joking! It's a shame because we all know soldiers parachute out of helicopters hovering at 200ft. Oh EA, how wise and knowledgeable you are

Not possible on the BF2 engine to have a player standing inside a vehicle. For example, you can't have a soldier standing up on the RIB while it's moving or else you will start bugging out and just die. There's a reason why you can't go into the PLA or MEC transport helicopters from the back. You actually have to be in the numbered positions in the vehicle.

did u see the 0.5 merlin video, he was walking around in it.

Not seen the walking around the Osprey video then? :shock:
