Your argumentative style drives you to prove the other guy wrong and back the arguement into a narrow, tunnel-vision version where someone has to lose.

It's retarded, this is an internet forum about a videogame for god's sake. Not the Presidential Debates (thought you do remind me of a politician, always dodging the main points to pick on things you can answer).

I like I/O becuase it gives infantry (what I like to play) more power. You like vehicle maps becuase you like to play vehicles and vehicle maps which (obviously) have vehicles.

There is no right or wrong here so stop trying to make it look like I am wrong and you are right.

My final thoughts on I/O: In I/O every fight is one that you can win by your abilities to kill. There are no outside factors influencing who wins except for skill and experience. The battles are personal and fun. An infantry player can dominate the round, his actions directly deciding the outcome. That's what I like.

    Cheers
...and then you encounter 5 enemy supports throwing nades at you.

I have no problems with IO, but I would have liked DICE/EA to work on it a little more (lol, they and work) like add more realism, less arcade, etc. Maybe a specific gamemode for infantry.

I miss noobtubing, that thing was bloody deadly back then.
I also miss dolphin-diving. It looked whack and it was whack, but hell if it wasn`t fun.

Re: 50 things you miss about BF2

First: Thanks sniper for backing me up trying to get to the point.

Chris: when you say that it is easier to kill in vehicles because most of the players aren't smart enough to counter vehicle attacks, you may be right.
Nevertheless the fact stays the same: It is easier to kill in vehicles!

This discussion reminds me of some I had before, where everybody was complaining about "medic whores" that just whore points reviving and killing with the noobish G36E.
      WTF?
Every player can choose the server he plays on and the class he plays on that server. As long as it sticks to the BFROE it's OK! If you are jealous of the points, go play medic yourself!
So, again, what is all this arguing about??

It's about the question if a vehicle is more powerful than an infantry soldier?
You still need to argue about that?

      my last post about this....

I cannot for my life understand you guys. Infantry in BF2 is so ****ed up that I can just not see where the fun in it is? The games infantry variation works only because of 3 maps out of the whole package. You guys like IO, you should have stopped any arguments about that part. Instead, this thread quickly became into bashing vehicles as parts of the game that "require no skill". I like making fun of that argument as a vehicle whore myself I can see where I came from and where I am at the moment.

        Anyway, Im dropping this aswell.

Vehicle combat is great, why can`t infantry be the same?
The inf is so half-assed in this game it`s sad.

I miss the fun I never had but that I was supposed to get with this game.

Whether it be the horrible weapons (mostly in terms of accuracy), nearly invulnerable jets (due to their speed), TK punishes even when you didn't kill the people on purpose, or the horrible performance and stuttering that hits me every now and then, Battlefield 2 was little more than a letdown.

I was a huge, huge Battlefield 1942 fan but Battlefield 2 just didn't do it for me. Hell, I had more fun with Battlefield Vietnam.

How's that for strangeness? I just give up on this game. No patch can fix it.

I miss some of the maps that were once played. OCS, Zatar...there is another thread about it, but that is something I miss, just random map changes.

Well I prefer to stay on 24/7 maps that I'm good at. I hate playing Chinese maps (specially wake). I prefer desert combat.
