How do YOU switch weapons?

Do you use the numbers on the keyboard, mouse scroll, or something completely different (such as G11/15 or n52)?

Personally, I use the numbers on my keyboard.

Scroll down = CS style quickswitch, scroll up = menu.

F = Primary weapon
C = Slot 5 - Paddles and such
X = Slot 4
V = Slot 3
Z = Slot 1, useless.

Doing that boosted my gameplay like no other. Especially shock paddle kills.

mouse wheel, works flawless every time, why i use the 518 instead of the G5-7, the wheel on the 518 is so much more fluid and low with perfect clicks, certain length with index for what i need to pull out at the time, and pageback button bound to firing modes which really comes in handy more often than not. also using the mouse wheel is alot quicker and you dont have to worry bout accidentally hitting the wrong number key.

Numbers when im at home on Zboard. If im on a normal keyboard i use the mouse scroll.

I use the numbers up top very quick as your primary weapon key is by w so you can move forward andswitch easy only hard part is some of the slots like shock paddles are way out there but I dont often play medic.

Depends on the kit. Like if i am assault, I will hit "4" to go to the GL and then use my 4th mouse button for the smoke/flash. But if I am playing something like Medic, then I will all 4 buttons on my mouse. I do not consider my scroll wheel a button, else I would say 5.

But if I am in SF and playing assault, I will use all 4 of my buttons because I am aways pulling out my grapple-hook.

started off just pressing 1 to get my knife out, but now I use the numbers for everything

I use the wheel with a combination of quick keys. I make proper use of the additional buttons on my mouse. Almost the same like Sydus but not exactly, I designate my page forward key for weapon firing modes. My page back key is often changed depending on the kit I use. For example if Im using medic class the page back key would be used for easy access to my shock paddles, Sniper kit would be claymores and so on. The mouse wheel button is used for my parachute.

I use everything. The numbers on my zboard, the scroll wheel, and my forward button on my mouse is for my main weapon. Hitting it either switches me to my main weapon, or changes from burst to single shot. My back button on my mouse puts me prone; it's not very accessible on my keyboard. My ctrl key is, though, and I use it to crouch.

I set my wheel forward for primary weapon, wheel back for grenades/AT missile and the rest are bound to keys. I play a lot of AT so having the ability to switch back and forth is very valuable.

i have the primary weapon (3) set to the mouse wheel click. I can draw and change firing modes with it. I personally think the scroll wheel is just inferior to the numbers. Once you got the numbers memorized, the scroll wheel seems to take ages to use.

for example, your hiding behind and wall and have your little weapons list out. you've got your ammo bags highlighted and some guy comes around the corner, there is no way to quickly close it without pressing the ammo bags.

That is why i use the numbers, just quicker and more reliable to me.
