I use the mouse thing for getting to the defibrilators and stuff but it takes longer to find the weapon scrool to it and then click on it then just hitting a button its easier if your new and dont know the slots but the buttons are a quarter to a half a second faster from me trying them both out.

well as it is now, i'm just et in my ways, so its what i'm comfortable with

its just a simple case of whatever you take to quickest and easiest

Always key binds around movement keys. Way faster switching than mouse wheel

I have number 3 for main gun, central mouse button for granades and I scroll with the mouse weel for the rest. It's pretty smooth, never died because of error in weapon switching.

I have the G15 and I use the G-buttons for rapidly typing in-game messages to my squad when I play on servers that do not enable voip. I've recorded basic things like "Enemy ahead", "Bodies on the flag", "Squadleader down" and so on, all of them in uppercase.

Ah, looks like Camper took the F key under use. I just use the F key to switch to main weapon, also an excellent firing mode changer. I havent found the need to switch anything else as they are pretty close to my already very long fingers anyway.

I think I read one of your posts, actually and that's what got me going :yay:

Seriously, people must try it. Being able to pull up the paddles instantly is very good, especially against support players.

I have knife and pistol assigned to specific mouse buttons. Other than that, I use the number keys.

No scroll. Takes too long.

1=parachute
2=knife
3=main
4=grenades

Mouse button 3 is the same as main weapon.
Mouse button 4 is number 5 (default).
Mouse wheel click is pistol.

Side mouse button for 3 (primary weapon), it's kinda like switching the selector on my AR15 - right thumb controls the fun.

Regular old keyboard numbers across the top for everything else.

That's where I got the idea for using my front thumb button for number 3. It just feels natural.

F = Parachute for me, that way i can spam it so it actually opens and still have fingers where i need them :)
