I can't hit jack with the pkm.

If you can use the L85, it's pretty much the exact same.

It's the english rifle with a optical sight. Very contraversial about its accuracy. It's the first medic unlock.

I'm hit and miss most of the time with the L85, meaning sometimes I can be deadly accurate and other times I couldn't hit the broad side of a barn.

oh right! i do have that one, it is quite good - i sometimes use it for its auto-function in the USMC...but if i were to go for auto in medic in MEC i would use the AK101, its really good, but i still dont know if there is a diffrence between it and the AK for the PLA...im sure there is!

The PLA AK does little more damage being 7.62mm caliber vs. 5.56 mm on the AK-101. Accuracy is about same.

I'm torn on this

One day I'll use a PKM and just mow down everything i see, no matter where on the map. Next day, I cant hit jack**** even with they are standing right infront of me.

the RPK just seems more consistant to me, but when Im hitting with the PKM, i'd take it over any weapon.

The secret is, timing your shots. The PKM's deviation is very low for the first shot (check yourself) and will almost 100% hit the target, no matter the range (I've outsniped snipers on cranes, this needs Wake testing though :P).

After that, it goes absolutely bonkers and most bullets will go behind you. So, tap the mouse button lightly, imagine it's your parachute button and you're trying to parachute. If the first shot doesn't hit, wait a few seconds to settle down, then let rip. Never use this thing on full auto, it just doesn't do it justice.

full auto works in VERY close situations - i.e. camping a door and 3 ppl trying to get out - i mowed them all down =D

camperstrike is right, although i dont know if its first shot? just need to wait for cross hair to go back down, although you can see this in iron sight.

PKM is probily the best all round gun, as RPK gets longer range it relies more on luck. Hell ona bad day RPK can really suck. PKM you must click very lightly, if you do a 2 shot burst it screws up accuracy.

PKM is by far one of the most accurate guns ingame, maybe even topping the spec ops weapons, but its rate of fire lowers significantly to maintain this accuracy.

RPK is a cop out gun for any1 who doesnt wish to try so hard as support, just pick up and use it.

PKM, if you know how to use it, it's deadly. If you don't, you're a dead man walking.
