RPK hands down, although i have had trouble bringing down targets at range i think thats just my lack of practise with it lol. Personaly i cant stand the PKM its just so big and slow compared the the rpk, I'd much rather have the 3rd tier support unlock over the pkm.

I will say PKM, I do loove the RPK, but I dont like playing MEC, and I also like the feeling of the PKM, I think it takes a bit more skill!

PKM for sure.
If you know where to aim on the enemy, and know what class they're using, than you're good as golden. Nothing can stop you.

I used to love the PKM before it was nerfed, but then a clan mate introduced me to the RPK properly and I've never looked back. The gun is just, well completely insane. Saying that, I love all the MEC stock guns.

As with every other gun in the game, you have to use it correctly. Taking into account the deviation in this game, this means you have to be point blank with the enemy firing full-semi-auto. Then you *might* get a kill. Might.

You know what brings me joy in this game? Playing as US, killing a MEC support and grabbing their RPK :shoot:

I remember one time I did this, and one of the medics in my squad died. Being the good squadmate, I grabbed his kit (losing my RPK) and defibbed him. When he got up, he said on VOIP, "Awesome, I just spawned with an RPK!" I was so pissed

Always fire in bursts for accuracy, and never let it over-heat. It rules the alleyways of Karkand.

Question: is the accuracy affected in anyway if you should overheat? (like in Red Orchestra), and is there anyway to counter this?

(noob question, I know. Support has never been my strong class)

RPK as first choice but still would not rule out using PKM in certain situations like close combat. I have never been great fun of MG36 though

RPK first-GREAT accuracy and good damage, plus good ROF

PKM-OK accuracy, great damage, slow ROF

SAW-Absolutely great ROF, average accuracy

MG36-Innaccurate, fair ROF, terrible damage
