Someone should try it with the M16 for US. If it is just a character/ traning thing, then it should have a tighter crosshair for the assualt M16 vs the medic M16.

EDIT: TRIED IT. THE M16 CROSSHAIRS ARE THE SAME FOR BOTH CLASSES VERY TIGHT>

They may have made it that way on purpose. The Assault Class is meant for killing, while the Medic Class is meant for healing. As such the Assault troopers may get better weapons training (resulting in better accuracy), even though both classes use the same gun.

Sounds silly, but it might be the case.

I recently gave up on the Ak-101 until i played assault. It just seemed more accurate, i cant hit crap with the medic one for some reason.

Am i crazy, or are the crosshairs different? Both of these shots were taken while prone, and waited out the settlement of the crosshairs.

I play both those kits pretty hardcore with the ak101 and i'm telling you that your crazy =P

Yes, your pictures appear to be suggesting there is a difference but if you use the zoom in feature (love it for long range, really helps!), I bet it'll look the same. Either way, I dont feel a difference with it.

PS. To the guy who said the M16 nade launcher is better than the GP30 - your on crack. They are both the same - the only difference is with the AK101 you have a real assualt kit - An automatic gun

um no your on crack idiot, the M203 reloads 2 seconds faster and it shoots from a higher hitpoint than the Gp's or F200 does, especially F2000. the M203 feels more accurate because of it, and the faster reload makes a huge difference.
we both have 55 hours nube tube yet i have more than DOUBLE the kills than you, ranked 600 compared to your 3,300 with nade launcher on my main i think i have learned the weapon. oh and the M16>Ak101 would you like me to show you in an MT server? my top kit is assault on my second account with noob tube as my second most used weapon at kdr 4. so stfu and test the 2 out before you open your mouth The 203 is better. btw your InF stats suck

get your facts straight, opinionated or not before you say someone is on crack, your the little fVck for responding like that in the first place, why are you telling people they are exactly the same when that is CLEARLY not the case, thats like saying the Dragunov and M24 are the same and telling all the people on the forums that do not know any better a lie, and just because a gun is not fully auto doesn't make it a non assault rifle, burst guns are 900rpm, any auto assault (600rpm)you should be using burst fire 90% of the time anyways.

Assault, anti-tank and support have kevlar. When they get hit with an m95 body shot they have around 40-45% percent health left whereas sniper, medic, special-ops and engineer have only 5% percent left after a body shot.

That's also why these two categories have different sprinting ranges.

No, the M95 rounds ignore body armor from all infantry so even with Kevlar, you will suffer 95%. It's the damage dealt from the M24, SVD, Type 88, and L96A1 that will be reduced by body armor.

GP-30 (and 25) reload faster than M203, at least that's how it's coded.

To be precise; the M24 & L96A1 take a Class wearing body armor down to 37.3% health.

The damage done by the .50 rounds (M95) on targets wearing body armor is different from the .308 (M24 & L96A1) or small arms as they are called in the material_damage chart ...



... the M95 always does 0.5 x 190 = 95 damage to an Infantry target, regardless of body armor

... the M24 & L96A1 do 1.0 x 95 = 95 damage to an unarmored Infantry target

... the M24 & L96A1 do 0.66 x 95 = 62.7 damage to an armored Infantry target

... the Semi's (SVD/Type88) do 1.0 x 45 = 45 damage to an unarmored targets and 29.7 damage per round on armored target

... the Semi's (SVD/Type88) do 0.66 x 45 = 29.7 damage to an armored target

Headshots are always triple the base damage (unarmored damage column). Semi's would do 135 damage and the Bolts would do 285 damage to the head. Or in other words headshots are instakill.

Can't everyone just admit that they're experiencing a kind of placebo effect, that because you know the two kits are different you feel a difference in accuracy but really, in terms of coding, they're identical. Besides the only way to really determine accuracy is to compare both kits in identical circumstances - range, ping, map, target type,etc. To my knowledge NO ONE HAS DONE THIS and no one will so let's just put this one to sleep.
