Ok, as long as Pings are not going to be an issue. BF2s is looking at holding a breaking it up into two matches also, N.America and Europe. I have not been back over to that thread, so you might have posted in it.

Im holding my breath for some US pilots to pick the spot though as the ping MAY create an issue for me. If N2K and Metallica will pick the spots or some other good ones from TBF2, I will gladly go groundpounding, although Im OK at armor aswell. See what happens. I trust the event will have a date and that I can prepare for it?

Im not playing this to win, Im playing this for fun and to have one of the last great BF2 games before I ditch the game for good. Which means Im playing with US people on US.

~110 ~140 ms on East Coast servers
~160 on Texas servers, all manageble

Ping wars are never fun. You go over 100 and you will need a lot of experience in lagshooting to even start competing with low pinged players. Dont waste your energy on that :)

Im quite amused about the fact that people here at TBF2 are pretty damn laid back and arent treating this as a ***** holding contest, but a good opportunity to take on an equal opponent while having great fun (something different from highly competitive CAL-guys). I dont see hate here, I dont see cocksmacking and I dont see e-penis comparision contest. Im throughly disappointed if whats going on at BF2S is true though. This means they are taking it as a competition to show "whos best".

Which is why if I join, Im joining reluctantly as I dont want to prove nor help prove anyone anything. Hell, I havent played the game regularly since September, only just checking by every once in a while to see if Im still doing OK.

Well, they have the attitude that we don't even know how to unlock a weapon. And, I don't want us carrying knives to a gun fight. These boys are playing to win. Hell, even Chuy, the site owned is in now.

The date is not set yet. I think servers have not been an issue. There are two signups for North American Match and European matches. ....I need to update my first OP.
