L96A1 sniper rifle

Wow :shock:

I have had the SF expansion since i got the game (a few weeks ago) they came in a pack and i found out that i unlock the M95 then play a round in SF and i can unlock the L96A1 and i just have to say wow.

I was having trouble sniping especially on moving targets and ove rlong distances with bullet drop......not anymore.

I have probably got more kills in the last hour or so than in the past week with the M24 now that i have the L96A1.

How far ahead though do i need to aim when they are sprinting at say 200M.

Bullet drop out to 200-300 isnt a problem...i just centre their head in the middle of my Xhairs and it doesnt even drop...but sprinting targets are still a challenge.

Depends how far the server box is from your location and if the hard coded hitboxes decide to detect the hit versus sand just flying off your target.

I love tha L9. But I have to pick it off dead bodies. At first Sergeant I am stupid for not having it unlocked. oh well. I should have it in a month or so!

yeah idk y i prefer the l96 to the m24 even tho theyre basically the same gun. i think it mite be the sound or the scope

If you're sniping at 300m, there most certainly is bullet drop. You must be aiming at the head, and hitting them at the waist. At 300m, for a head shot, you should be about 5mm above them. Its hard to put in numbers, when playing you can just feel if its right or not.

Im pretty sure the L9 is much more accurate.

Ive used the M24 since i started playing and have noticed a huge improvement now i use the L9.

I prefer the M24 because of the feel of it. If I'm US I always try to (when I feel for sniping) go for the M24.

If you can find a decent hiding space overlooking a capable spawn point, then you can easily get gold star. Especially on somewhere like IO Mashtuur.

I think the numbers governing how the guns work are the exact same only difference is that L96A1 has much better crosshairs as there much finer so you can sight up your target much better.

What rank do you have to be to get the L9? I was looking forward to unlocking it but I keep getting the Eng, AT and SF unlocks. I'm Gunnery Sergeant or something.
