Anti air is a joke and by the time the flares from the jet are cleard for you to fire they hav already strafed you and you know it.
Sometimes I think the reason it seems so weak it so that it's just a defense against choppers while you need you own jets to counter theirs so that having airpower emans something.
But I think Anti air should have some chance in shooting down a jet and the mobile AA should only lock when you tell it to, im sick of giving away my atatck by a stupid missles lock when I wish i could just ambush it with bullets.

the most balanced thing in battlefield 2 is the m16 and choppers..at least you can beat those.

If were talking about clan battles, then most of the time the players are skilled enough to not to get killed by jets if they are on foot. If theres flag capping going on they purposefully risk with getting killed because the flag is at stake.

In clan battles air is covered anyway, pilots will deal with each other.

If were talking about public play, 4 people in STA are a small loss compared to a massive blow to the enemy air force.



Choppers, transport choppers and jets, the regular sh!t. I dont really care, I know the most comes from transport helos but thats common sense.



"near"`? To you near is a second of sprinting? Have you even played near an STA? In order for the jet cannon to kill you, it has to shoot pretty damn near you.



Just recently spoke of a buddy who went 68:0 or close to that with a 0, 800 ticket count. The game is seriously f*cked...

You seem to be convinced that this "debate" is all about me trying to force anyone to change the game. It took me just a few attempts, with a few indepth descriptive posts with information about what and how to change, to be convinced that DICE didnt listen to those kind of suggestions and posts. As far as I remember, DICE has never listened to the guys who take their time to go in deep, provide educated information and suggestions, going all the way to research the flaws and what needs to be done.
