Oman is great if you like flying otherwise its not all that fun. Its fairly unbalanced you generally just get bombed to hell on the ground. The map design is fairly decent though no real bottlenecks or anything but again you pretty much get raped from the air 24/7 unless both sides get great pilots which rarely happens.

i love gulf of oman...ive played a ton of hours mainly cuz of the demo and ive been playing it more recently. its a beautiful map and really makes BF2 looks like it has good graphics, and all the kits can be used in this map. only problem is that when all the CPs get captured...its just base rape over and over to the point that its impossible to recapture a flag and air power is a bit strong and it gets annoying when u get bombed 5 times in a row

N2K your server has severe admin issues. I havnt been there in a while, because of exactly what Infamous said. There really needs to be stricter rules.

I got kicked once for forgetting rules and blowing a tank that was near exit of airfield =)

So now I run over guys with my plane flying by, and they say "KICK FOR BASERAPE"

And I say " It was accident I was flying to low"

Someone was trying to ask N2K a question the other night and after a few attempts of them asking I typed that he was afk. Within a min there was a tank, an APC, 2 dpv's and the cobra all raping. But when all the flags are taken I don't really have a problem getting a base because all the mec are on the beach or carrier or when its the US, they all gather at the airfield. That actually makes it easier to to get a flags behind the lines.
