How can you ban the gl and label assult "useless"

The assault class may not be able to fix vehicles re-supply ammo and heal itself but the smoke and gl are enough to make it worth spawning as.
Anyone that’s a good shot with the gl is deadly and it doesn’t take long to learn.
I've held up an entire squad attempting to move from alley way to city entrance eon Sharqi by getting on a rooftop with my gl, and when I ran out I dropped smoke and ran.
I’ve knocked out a number of prone support/sniper whores wreaking havoc and killed medics getting behind cover to heal and und the damage you've done.

For these many useful and deadly reasons some servers have banned the gl without which the assault is useless (useless you’ve got that uber g3).

But at the same time clans tend to ignore it (along with the l33t sniper) and players deem it trash all the time, I even read a possible patch list on this thread saying "the assault kit feels weaker when compared to the other soldier classes"

WHICH ONE IS IT?

I've picked my side and think the assault would own the battlefield if the bulk of you team played assault with support form the other classes the way it was meant to be.

I play assault all the time... to kill the endless mobs of noob class medics and their G3SE's.

People don't want to play the assault because yes, it is harder to play.

Keep this theory in mind: The majority of players in any game will eventually gravitate to the easiest class to play. This is why medics are probably pretty high in the percentage for class played. This is why warlocks in WoW at one time were the most played class, then the shaman. Whichever class 'owned' at the time, everyone wanted to play.

I always play the underdog, the underclass, I take the hardest class to play and make people cry with it. Same applies to weapons. Players will play with the easiest weapons available.

It's the same for the AT class. I don't get why everyone says it's noob tubing, but I rarely see anyone playing that class either. If it's so easy and noob, how come noone plays it, and instead let armor run amok all over the map?

Assault class does pwn, but it is not quite as good as Spec Ops.

The G36C is brilliant for long and short range, and the SCAR-L is very good for close combat. Plus, having C4 is good for getting out of sticky situations.

So Spec ops > assault!

Yes, I would say the assault gun (default) is quite limited range wise, compared to the G36C or G#6E, or L85A1, etc cause they are much easier to snipe with than the assault gun.

and you guys know dang well those flash bangs (which can flash vehicles) are just sexy I've used those before I clear an area and it never failed me, I’ve been chased by tanks and have flashed it and got away unharmed.

Noone who is a good shot with gl can ever tell me they've been on a rooftop and didn't pwn all in sight

Thats true. What does an engineer or medic or sniper or supply guy have anything to do with nades anyway? Why would they ever need them, since they are 'support' classes? Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm? Exactly.

That's why those classes are on the front lines, and not the 'non-nade' classes like the AT or assault.

Besides, since patching from a while ago, the GL still has to land on a dime to get a kill. It has no splash radius. I find it seems to have more damage if multiple targets are against a wall or backdrop, but in open area, I have to land it right on their head to get a kill.

If the assault class had exra smoke then it would be the ultimate.

The gl on a rooftop is better than an AT rocket Its so awsome because they try to cap a flag and if you are fast enough they wont ever know where the roudns are coming from.

AT's and Assault both deserve Grenades, ontop of their current weapon roster.

Every other kit should have them removed. It's not an attempt to force balance down the throats of the Medic Classes, but it's an attempt to stem the rainfall of grenades in battle.

As my major in AT shows, an AT rocket is just as effective, or not... as a GL. Most people are not expecting a rocket either while lying on a flag, and if the rocket doesn't get them, the ring in their ears and disorientation is enough to stun them while I run in and do damage with my crappy gun.

The assault class needs a "lol noob ur pc sux now there goes your fps, say bai bai" grenade, a la cs 1.6. When thrown, it spawns a zillion polygons and instantly restricts those around it to 4FPS.

I cannot look at a single AT smg and say I don’t like it especially the pp19.

I think that medics and support should have 2 grenades because they are the one spamming the nades.
I have made some very long rage kills with the gl and against moving targets no one is safe from me and my 40mm of death

I got very good with the assault class when I was going for my 16 hours. Its tricky to get into, but yes the GL does own. Or you can just grab the g3 and take everyone out with single shot.
