Did some looking into it, and they do seem to have the same acronym.

For clarification though, they are different entities. One is owned by Fox Media.

The other is an Australian service provider's gaming network.

You'd think so by their website but I have done some digging around and they are in fact they are not what they seem.....

The Internode Gaming Network, was a political party in Germany between 1920 and 1945.

The party's leader, <BEEP> , was appointed Chancellor of internode by president Paul von Hindenburg in 1933. After Hindenburg's death, he rapidly established a totalitarian regime known as Internode admins, under which the party gained almost unlimited power.

Node ideology stressed the racial purity of the internode admins and persecuted those it perceived either as enemies or Lebensunwertes Leben, that is "life unworthy of life". (This included Jews, Gypsies, Slavs and homosexuals, along with Jehovah's Witnesses, the mentally and/or physically disabled, socialists, noob_mc_goob and communists.)
