I was on the beach in Flordia recently when 3 chinook's flew by really low. it was a pretty awesome sight.

i was driving around a couple weeks ago and i saw a chinook fly by. i dont think there is a military base anywhere near where i live though.

Yea there's always military Hardware doing exercises around the gulf coast of Florida. Makes Vacation that much more entertaining.

but one day I saw a cobra fly over, it was red

also saw a blackhawk, those things can be heard from far away

i live 5 miles away from camp pendelton so i always see helos flying over,especially cobras,but on tuesday we had a assembly on drunk driving where they did a pretty real mock up of a drunk driving accident with real cars etc,and they had a mercy air chopper land down and pick a guy up, pretty sweet.

One of those, but it was a red colour.

Off to bed, work tomorrow.

I've seen three of those over my place in the past week (Yeah a big freeway accident).

I love helicopters, my fav was when something like a Hind flew bye, it was early in the morning and my eyes were focusing as it flew away, but I think it was a Hind, maybe it was a Linx....I don't know but it's cool.

Then on my vacation to California where I used to live three Chinooks and two AH1Ws flew bye to the Naval base at Pt. Mugu. It was so awesome.

If you live in the right place you'll see all kinds of stuff fly bye.

i rember the time when i was at sports day and a squadron of harriers flew over our field about 40 meters off the ground,

and the day the red arrows flew over our field

When i went on holiday last year to Canary Islands, Euro Fighters regularly flew over the island. That was sooooo loud

dont you guys ever go to air shows?i go to the one in miramar down in san diego,its a blast see every fighter and bomber there is pretty much9including stealth bombers),you can even go into the cockpits of a few,ive been in a f18 f-14 and a mig -29 cockpit,quite fun!
