So yeah, you cannot see yourself roll, it is an animation only others can see.

So to do so just strafe left or right and hit prone and you will animate a roll which you cannot see.

The 3 page insert in the CD case. Of which 2 pages is a copyright notice...

It's 65 pages, yes, but it has zero content. Just a load of crap, really. Other games have several chapters dedicated to playing the game - BF2 = 0 pages.

yes alpha. there isnt actually anything that helps you in it. it just has info about the kits, vehicles and the controls.

That's the great thing about a community like this.
Here you learn things that wouldn't be covered by any manual.
Because the guys on sites like this get more out of BF2 than the developers intended to put in it.
