Ping help please!
Ok, most times when I go onto a server I'm fine, but on other times I immediately get kicked for high pings of just over 200. I can play for round after round and have no trouble, then out of the blue I get kicked for high ping. Does anyone know why I'm getting such high pings? When I do into a game its fine and I get no lag. I have 2mbs download and upload. I think it may be because I live in New Zealand and there aren’t many servers in New Zealand so my ping gets high that way.
So does anyone know of a way to lower my ping without going to another server? And is there any program that can mask your ping so you could make BF2 think you are getting low pings when you are not?
I did some searching and found a website saying you could type in the command place and it would lower your ping. It seemed to help a lot of people but I was wondering if it worked and if I would get banned for doing it.
