Pretty nice, medium settings atleast. I would upgrade that CPU though, it might be bottlenecking resources.

Yeah, how about going for an Intel Core 2 Duo E6600?

The RAM timings seem abit low too, i would try venture for DDR2 6400

With an e-penis like mine, you'd wave too.

Surely the RAM is fine? 2GB is plenty enough.

its a midrange pc. if your buying it tho, DONT, buy a core2duo instead. a pentium D is 2x p4 cores and p4's are pretty crap! the gfx card aint anything special either, the x1950 would be a wiser choice.

Actually...the 7950GT is cheaper, and with a small overclock, can get a small increase in frames on the X1950.

its fine if all you want is 2gb of the cheapest ram you can find, but its the one of the slowest ddr2 ram you can get.

personal choice would be c2duo E4300, DFI motherboard and 2gb pc8000, you can ramp up the fsb and end up with an absolute monster of a computer for very little money

getting the faster ram gives more bandwith (yes will see more fps), allows for easier overclocking and future upgrade paths e.t.c.et..c :P

Re: Your Opinion On These Specs

                        Spend less.

XP is .3 gig, bf2 is 1+gig, so 1.5 covers it just.

Your biggest improvement on a low buget is the gfxcard.

Then again they are a waste unless you have the processor to power the high end versions.

.. then cascadedes into stupid core 2 duo buying ddr 2 and stuff

LOL, your bragging about your e-penis with that machine? It looks like you have a big set of balls, but only as modest shaft to back them up. I really would not be bragging too much....because balls can be drained rather quick.

Is this a factory machine or are you building from parts?

                              bottlenecked MASSIVELY by your CPU.

I have a 3 GHz AMD (its not a 3000, it runs at 3 Ghz (overclocking ftw!), by AMD's naming system it would be a "5000"), a 7950GT, 1 GB of RAM (needs more!) and a 22" monitor (1680*1050) and BF2 runs on high fine with max AA. No more speed required!
