i agree, the amount of love and effort plainly shows in these screenies. it just amazes me how much these guys work just to put out a free mod that people can enjoy. and looks like they listed to us talking about how squeaky clean the car was! i think it really shows their commitment to the community to both listen and put the effort into enacting those suggestions. i bet this game will play as good as it looks. i mean, look at that pic of the hurricane strafing the villa! have you seen air combat look that fun!?!?!

@imoody, i think in the fh forums, they mentioned that they would NOT move on to the bf2142 engine, just like how they didnt move to the bfv engine. i for one agree. the changes in bf2142 look like they wont even benfit a mod of fh's type, plus, it would delay the mod alot

@diff-edge: yea, this is a hot button issue. they constantly remind us that they will release when they are ready and not a damn moment earlier. they wont be releasing a beta or anything like that. when they finish the gameplay aspects and most of the african campaign, then they will release. i cannot wait to see screenies of the pacific or western europe campaigns after they release the african one

I must say that this is great stuff as usual.

It may be just me but they are getting old... When is the thing going to be released already! Just with the content shown we have to be breaking 2.5 gigs. Cant we have a half a dozen maps and one campain? Then add a Campain here and there? Not to be pushy but I have been following this thing for a year now and am going to move in a month and a half to a country in which an internet access speed of 152 kbps download is 200 a month. I do not think Bf2 would even work on that the higher speeds are much more expensive. I would love to at least beable to play this thing for a week or two before I leave!

The first release of FH2 will focus on the African campaign. Other campaigns will we added later.

Very nice. I believe I will enjoy playing this when it comes out.

EDIT:
I hope not. BF2 will have a very sad mod scene if teams go to BF2142.

What difference does it make, 2142 is a beefed up BF2, so modding for it is basically the same as modding for BF2.

Prepare for a very expensive MOD when you buy 2142, lol.

FH2 looks crazy good, as it has. Save one really clean vehicle for me, thats how we pimp it where im from, lol.

and then what?? The FH2 mod team disappear from EA/dice´s payroll after the release of the game?Isn´t this what happened to the desert combat mod team who were recruited to develope battlefield 2?(Plz correct me if i'm wrong)

best leave it as it is.I dont think the FH2 team need the help of DICE or EA to better things.Just look what they have done with the BF1942 engine.I havent played regular BF1942 for years now but i am still a regular on servers running the great FH mod(now out with mappack6 and new texture and sound pack)AWESOME!!!
