Hey, can anyone please show me which part of the bombimg recticle do i use in the mig-29 to bomb? I keep seeing tips on how to bomb with the f35-b and j-10.

I believe it's the same, mess around with it a bit and see where the bombs hit after you drop them then make the necassary adjustments to have them hit where you want.

It does not really matter, tons of people request help here anyways. We turn it into good threads with tips with our replies anyways.

As far as the topic, I am **** for flying so I have no idea.

sigh... ill answer this but I hope it gets locked after...

I want you to try something, fly straight down and drop your bombs, they will both land in exacly the same spot right in the center of your screen. now bomb at a 45 degree angle and youll notice your second bomb will over shoot where you want it to go, thats because your bombs release one after the other, not all at once. also, if you drop your bombs at the last possible seconds it helps with accuracy a little since you dont have to lead them as much (moving targets) all in all, the steeper your angle of dropping bombs the more accurate they will be, dont use the bombing lines on your screen, just use the center of your screen and dive bomb, also use the search thingy at the top of the screen as to not piss off any more forum nazi's, mmm...k?

Don't dive bomb (unless you're getting pwnz0rd by other pilots).

Dive bombing means all your bombs hit in the same place, which effectively means a smaller explosive radius. If you're flying parallel to sea level, your bombs will end up hitting in a long line and you have a chance of hitting more than just your original target.

Map a key to rear chase, practice your eyeballs out. If it doesnt work, simply take a black marker and mark your F35B spot for the MiG. Enjoy.

Simple best way to bomb in a fighter (bomber is easy LOADS of bombs ALWAYS kill)

make your jet perfectly level and horizontal to the ground, then at the bottom of your HUD there is some sort of mark indicating the center, when that point crosses with the bottom line of your bombing sight, (once again you must be perfectly level and not tilted at all), THAT point is exactly where the first bomb dropped will hit, the other will land a little ahead, to drop one bomb at a time do this.

Drop both bombs then reload only one then drop it and then reload the other now you are dropping one bomb at a time :)

You need to drop you bombs when the target is in the middle of that vertical line you see in your HUD. Change your view so you see the nose of your Mig, then you'll see a line on the cockpit class. Its crosses the middle of that vertical line on your HUD. Just drop your bombs when your target is at that spot where those two lines cross. (I'm not talking about the very bottom of your HUD, its in the middle)

This is my technique: line up with your target, preferably once you've spotted it after a quick reconnaissance fly-over, then slow right down and open sustained fire with your cannon whilst making minor accuracy adjustments with the rudder controls. This will soften up the target so much that when you drop your bombs, even if you miss the target's health will be so low the splash damage of your bombs will finish him off.

This works EVERY time except:
-when someone is locked onto you
-you fly too fast
-your cannon aim isn't good enough

Slowing down is not a good idea as it will make it really easy to tear you apart with MG.

If you bomb any of these ways other than bombing like the way i explained, you will not kill any apcs, or tanks. In addition, you will be flying flat and level for another jet to gun you out of the sky. It takes two bombs to kill an apc or tank, the rest of the stuff in the game you can hit with one bomb and it will suffice, but YOU WANT BOTH BOMBS IN THE FIGHTER TO HIT THE SAME SPOT!!!

I dont know who wrote up there to bomb using the bombsights but that is SO wrong, I've been doing this a long time and I'm very successfull at it, if you want to spectate me playing look me up on ubar through my stats, it should show what server I'm playing on. alternatively I'm either on winnipeg fragmax server, or drunken maters server.
