They should ban them, Granade Launchers C4 and Nades from IO servers, get's too silly and would put more emphasis on tatics, and actually defending a position instead of capturing it then running to the next, you'd have to leave some people stationed!

Uh, banning them is not needed. The players are the ones who decide how they want to get their kills.

When I I/O, I never spam... Mainly because I'm too busy shooting the guys who are nade spamming. When I throw a nade, it's going to count.

That's just how I play though.

NO C4? NO GL? No WAY! C4 to destroy enemy commander assets. Grenade Launcher for traveling Squads. Nades, they should be there, but like 1 per life. Claymores, they should defend the sniper, not assaulting. But yeah, a lot of people use it for assaulting.

Agreed limited to 1 each but no refill from support unless it's bullets

Yep, only make the nades a little bit powerful (for small vehicles, etc.)

i think they are the stupidest thing in the game. I appreciate the fish boxes more than claymores. They are easy kills, cheap for that matter, set and forget and you get +2 kills, SKILLS. They arent fun to use at all, unless your a point whore, they piss your teammates off, pisses pretty much everyone off if ff is on, and are nothing but annoying. Why people use them? so they can get a pointless PNG image in their bfhq, along with those pictures of fake shiny metal.

What do you think of these pieces of crap?
Funny, the part about pisses teammates off especially with FF on...don't these things come with their own crossbones box at the bottom right of the screen, be more aware of your surroundings and you won't get killed took me about 1 game of getting killed by the things to start looking at the ground. Perhaps people do use them for the fancy .png image, perhaps they use them because they know how much it pisses people like you off, either way they are useful...just not when your team of blindmen walk on them.

I use clays all over, anywhere where people commonly travel it doesnt have to be behind a wall and 100% out of view any route used to get from this flag to this one is where clays belong, great for holding flags when outnumberd, plant clays at flag and position self away from flag so that you can snipe it and nade spam it.

                  Re: The Claymore Thread

i really think they should be removed from the game too. And grenades limited to 2 each. C4 can stay 5 because its really not used to kill infantry.

Nothing would be better than removing clays though. Imagine running through karkand without the fear of going around a corner. You can be the best player ever, but you still cant win over clays.

Like wtf where they thinking? especially when they gave snipers TWO. Its a grenade that times itself perfectly to blow up right next to you... atleast hand grenades require some amount of skill (not spamming). Its the only thing in the game that requires absolutely NO SKILL after you learn how to shoot or "throw" in this matter.

those that say j-10 is cheap, not even. I bet you that you can get the best j-10 pilots ever, but they still will not win a round on wake if the USMC knows what they are doing. All they get is a few kills every here and there, doesnt compare to an efficient flag-capping squad.

Claymores rule. thats why you need a rabit and a medic. send in the rabbit to take out the claymore and a medic to revive the rabbit. easy solution.

i wish my team could co-ordinate this simple task. They all just swarm the clay choke points and wait for someone to set it off, just so they can run in and get killed, leaving those "rabbits" behind.

Say what you want about claymores. They don't belong to a sniper class period. Snipers in real life don't hole up and wire the perimeter with mines - a sure fire way of giving away their position, and a clue to the enemy where they might be in the area.

A sniper takes his shot, gets the kill, and moves his location - otherwise he's dead. Giving snipers claymores make no sense at all.

But what can you do... that's the way they made the game..

I guess reality or even 'believability' is not a basis for modern game development. It's like they don't even try to make it believable. It's like playing World of Warcraft and having a priest or mage who can charge into a group of enemies at the front lines, and actually live to tell about it. Game classes are so ****ed up nowadays, I'll applaud any game that actually specializes the classes again - with strengths and weaknesses so that 'combat medics' and 'combat snipers' are a thing of the past.

A medic reviving a dead person with shock paddles isn't realistic, getting shot in the chest from any assault, sniper, shotgun and surviving isnt realistic, neither is repairing a tank with a wrench....it's a GAME!!!

Players thay hate clays tend to be the ones that are daft enough to run into them and never go sniper. I don't particularly like medics that have a negative KDR but mass points from reviving and healing alllll game.

And by the way how can dropping 2 clays be described as spamming?? It's "2" FFS!!

Whover said that don't play karkhand/jalalabad and you wont have a problem is right. You cant get killed by a clay in a plane or a tank.

Stop point whoring karkand as a medic and you won't have a problem with clays!!!

I only use clays for spawns, bases and flag capping areas. I play on mostly FF ON servers so... I try to keep them out of areas my team mates might run into them, what better place than enemy spawns.

No need to ban GL's...really... I mean come on. I'd probably quit with out the GL.

C4 is needed to... no real way to whore than unless you're making a car bomb...which is pretty cool anyway.

Just put FF ON for claymores and mines, thats how it is in real life...it'll cut down on the spam too...

I love clays. It`s an efficient way to kill, fool, scare, block, etc your enemy. Plus, it`s fun.
