After 2 years of BF2...I think I am finally sick of it.
Re: After 2 years of BF2...I think I am finally sick of it.
Have you tried joining a group? I want to start one with my old tags from BF1942 =IAM= I am about to hit the 50000 mark and then I'm going to move on to a MOD. Probably Desert Conflict. You?
Re: After 2 years of BF2...I think I am finally sick of it.
I generally keep a simple rule in mind. If you start having a really bad streak that lasts more than 2 rounds, like, getting shellled by arty virtually 4 times or more in a row, then u just pop out of the game for a bit, and take pleasure in the fact that u can in fact turn it off :).
Keeps you from getting too pissed off. Then u come back later and lay down some major point spreads and its all good.
Re: After 2 years of BF2...I think I am finally sick of it.
ET:QW will be out in a couple of weeks. So it will either be that or the BF2 Mods.
I'll probably finish my main account on 20:1 if I can be bothered or I will keep playing the occasional vanilla game with my new 1337ness account :)
EDIT: oh and Crysis will also be released soon so more eye candy for us all is in the works, but with the added sidenote that EA's involved so you might wanna think twice about getting it.

So you`re one of those "OMG BS NO WAY AYOU COIULD MAKE THAT SHOT!" people?
It takes practice and when you have had a lot of it, you can sniper with the 203.
I`m pretty good with 203 myself. I often use it instead of the gun itself. It`s much more deadly and accurate.
Re: After 2 years of BF2...I think I am finally sick of it.
I found this game again when I joined a clan. It is so much more fun when you get 12 or more players doing job for the same goal. This game gives good tools to do it and when you get it running, enemy has a hard task to stop it.
Try it, it doesn't cost a penny.
Other thing, as far as I know, there are no better options available yet. Well mods of course, those are fun but most of them are pretty similar than vanilla. PoE2 , PR and Desert Conflict those I have tried. All good choices.

Don't get my wrong...I have really enjoyed playing this game..but lately I am getting VERY tired of CHEAP sh*t that goes on during a round. I am not accusing anyone of cheating...so that is not the theme of this thread. I am talking about what we all hate....AT rockets going right thru vehicles..only to have the guy hop out and ONE SHOT kill you. Yesterday I parachuted onto the carrier (USMC had 3 land bases) and I jump into the enemy chopper. This guy spawns and is running at the chopper. I fire ALL 8 MISSLES at him and they explode all around him...not killing him..but allowing him time to put C4 on me and detonate it. 2 days ago...I spawned on the carrier at wake and grabbed the F35. I circled around on a J-10 and fired ALL 6 missles at CLOSE RANGE on his ***. You guessed it..they ALL MISSED and two of them hit my friendly chopper and I got two teamkills -8 and then people were questioning me. "Yo haze..why are you TK'ing". I put 27 shots into this guy last night with the G36e and he flops onto his stomach...squeezes off three shots and kills me.
Yeah..I know... waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa. But this is finally wearing me down to the point of sheer frustration. Anyone else getting tired of CHEAP kills?
Speak Up.
Sounds like you're sick and tired of people just like yourself.
You're saying other people do cheap ****, well parachuting onto the enemy carrier when you don't have all the flags to steal an enemy vehicle...well that's cheap. And Im glad you got killed by a sapper before you could get light on the skids. You probably just suck if you missed him with all 8 hydras. If you know he's there and you can't hit him, get out of the bird, then kill the enemy. You got what you deserved there my friend. Shouldn't even have been on the flight deck of the enemy team if you weren't there to destroy commander assets. Not to mention, you're team didn't have all the flags.
Next time you're in a jet, don't go firing off all your missles when you get a positive lock...that's just dumb.
I think you just make bad decisions when it comes to war simulation video games...You're probably one of those people who stands up in a firefight during PRMM and get your whole squad wiped out because you're kill hungry and plain ol' dumb.

Tried playing on Need_2_Kills server for a bit today and I just got to the point if I didn't live I'd uninstall our whole team was blowing people into the air for the chopper, redlining, and none of them could fly. One guy who redlined me, turned around to head away and crashed into the water...
Its just ignorant that there is so many people playing and half of them do not understand that if you crash once you should probably leave that asset be for someone who doesn't crash. Instead you get the same idiots coming back over and over for the helo they cannot fly. Its pathetic, and half the people out there that do this realize they are idiots, and have low iq's and realize that everyone who sees them looks down on them. It use to be that lower ranks had more common sense now its like you can't trust any low rank of your safety in the helicopter.
Re: After 2 years of BF2...I think I am finally sick of it.
Its true that this game and the game players have issues but there is always something that you can do. Thats why Ive been working on my accuracy. To me getting 25% accuracy with the way things go in game would be pretty cool. I currently have 24.30% and that includes all my weapons but no vehicles. If you want to try and do something really hard try doing that with over 1300 hours in the game. I currently have to make about 150 shots to raise that stat .01 per cent.
Back to the main topic. Just pick something and work toward it. It helps keep intrest in the game. It helped me. . . . . . . . . . .Red

AncientSerpent3,
You are obviously an *******...who's opinion really doesn't matter...so thanks for sharing...but you can now kindly STFU. You are wrong on nearly all of your "assumptions"..and you know what happens when you assume.
Dairuka...glad to see you weren't paying attention. This game didn't cost me a mere $60....I have spent $6000 to play it. So you also can disappear too.
