Best way to get 20 Repair points?

II need 4 more repair points and then i will be eligible for the Expert repair badge which requires 20 repair points IAR. So whats the best way to accomplish that.

Also is there only a certain amount of slots for each ribbon to be shown in BFHQ. Because my aerial service ribbon doesnt show but it says i recieved it and the date i recieved it. Would it be because i got my north american service ribbon before i got the aerial one.

Get in a car and follow around a tanker.

A little bird told me you can park a truck next to an apc. Shoot the truck till it starts to smoke. Get in the truck and repair from the backseat. Same with a transport chopper, and you can even bump the chopper along the ground to take damage then reapair it.

Also, that bird said if you have any friends, join a server together and get on opposite teams. Let him spec-op the assets while you repair. That way you both get points.

^Turns out that little bird was just another stupid statpadder.

Anyways, just ride around in armor on warlord or karkland like a normal person and hope someone blows up some assets too.

this will take a few rounds (and a few near misses aswell)

you just have to hope for that good round. warlord is a good one. go on an ATV as eng and follow your armour, get reapir points off them, then when your assests go down drive like mad back and fix them.

what you need is the right length round, with good armour battles, and also some eager spec-ops on the other team

i had 2 rounds of 17, then a round of 19, then my 20 round! and alot of rounds with like 3-10

I EARNED my expert repair on Warlord, playing as insurgent and just repairing anything and everything. I died lots but having that shiny gold pop up was worth it. 2 weeks later it still didn't register so again I EARNED my expert repair on Ghost Town repairing anything and everything. 1 month later still no badge in BFHQ I only have the screenshots to look at

I then EARNED my expert repair on Warlord again although this time I was fortunate as the enemy held second floor and just kept blowing the assets up and I got the gold badge with lots of tickets left. Managed 34 repair points IAR that time. 1 week later STILL no badge in BFHQ and now I have 3 screenies

In the end I came on here asking if it was mega bugged or just broken, by now 2 months had gone since I earned it the first time round and someone told me the Jalalabad Jeep trick and after 10 minutes I CHEATED the repair badge and guess what? Lo and behold it was there in BFHQ!!!

Obviously I eventually padded to get the thing to appear in BFHQ but I did earn it legitamitely 3 times, and now I rarely play engy due to the fact that the award for me was such a pig, even had to earn engy combat twice on SF

I say good luck and I hope you don't have the problems I did but the first time you nail that gold is a good feeling

Truthfully it's almost impossible to get this legitimately. I'd say camperstrike's estimate of 70% is way low on the number of people who used shenanigan's to get the gold repair badge. I've gotten the most repair points (17, I believe) riding shotgun as engy on a mobile AA convoyed with an APC whose driver was NOT an engineer. You need the driver of your mobile AA to be a Medic so you get healed. You need for the APC/tank driver NOT to be engy so you get credit for repairing both your vehicle and his.

i dont think i ever managed more than about 6 repair points in a game. and i would have been glued to another tank for the whole round!!

i reckon if you flipped a boat or something that you may only just get the badge as repair points take forever!!

i dont remember what they did to it , did we used to get lots of repair points in the blackhawk or was that mostly driver assists or summat?

It's not even worth the time it takes to get this badge.

Focus on an important badge like the veteran vehicle badges, so you can get your stars when you hit 180,000.
