I never said add it to vanilla, lol, but there are many pubs for bfpro, and every pubber I brought in there that was semi-good at infantry, liked it much better than the crap we have now.

I tried BFPro, there's only one out of 4 servers populated

Well yeah crazy-8 is like the only server that ever has people.

There used to be one called like shift and swifty or something.. But crazy-8 gets full all the time.

BF2Pro is a CAL competition mod for BF2. It's main focus was infantry combat, but they've made a lot of changes to vehicles, also.

From what I know, it was mad in conjunction with 20ID(if you know competition, you know this team).

In RL, guns shoot where you point them... not bf2 where there is a "cone" where they could go.

I'd have to agree that the game's netcode, and constant lag may affect my performance in BF2 more than any other factor.

Most of us probably know how to aim, we're quick witted and fast on the trigger. If we're not hitting our target, there's probably something in the way of our success at it.

I have windows in BF2 where the ping is golden, the shots are registering, I am like a god, it doesn't matter what the other players are doing - bunnyhopping, diving, any tactic, I still hit where I'm aiming and get the job done. Then there are the majority of times where I can't hit anything - my playstyle and skill don't suddenly go down... When I'm ending up having to ram my gun up someone's *** and emptying the clip just to get a kill, something is definitely lost in translation from my fingers to the server...

so your saying we should all play like the top players and just throw nadews around never getting into a fight at all and all be medic whores? a game like that would suck people in BF2 only seem to care about stats and points. you want to be a top player fine ill just laugh at you when you realize you wasted over a thousand hours and then get your stats reset.

Just because people dont like to put up with people that play like you does not mean they think your too good and pwning them its because its like playing a hacker. we dont suck at infantry we just want a fun game but dont like the over realistic structure of PR. BF2 was preety realistic except for bunny hopping.

When he says top players he doesn't mean pub allstars like you except at the top of the leader boards. He means the best players on the top competitive teams.

People who say bunny hopping or dolphin diving are noobish are just nubs who have been owned by it and don't have the coordination to pull it off. You have to adapt to what the game throws at you to be the best and when they took away dolphin diving the same people who owned you then would continue to own you afterwards.

i say its noobish because its retarded, and makes my game look stupid.....if i wanted that crap i woulda loaded up UT.......anyone can 'adapt to what the game throws at you to be the best' without resorting to bunnyhoping and dolphin diving...i dont mind bunny hopping so much as dolphin diving....that just turns the game into something else and degrades the quality of gameplay........

but bunny hopping is here, its queer, and its here to stay, so exploit its vulnerability and weakness and rack in those easy kills....even though it makes the battlefield look f*cking stupid

Elder got it right.

Fact is, every game has a certain aspect or a tool that is superior to other because its perfectly suitable to dealing with the settled down flow of the game. Rushing each other in BF2, with random cone of fire at your side, and the opposition quickly developed dolphin diving as the most optimal method to aim quick, and die later.

The people who play and seek out these mechanics to beat the competition at all costs- more power to them.

The problem with whiners is that they cant force themselves to use the same methods NOR even create a counter to them. And when they fail to deal with it, they cry that its "lame, cheap, stupid, noobish"m where in fact they are themselves being noobish.

And "bunnyhopping is lame because the game looks retarded" is plain stupid. Have you even looked at the game properly? The whole fvcking game looks retarded, how does bunnyhopping or DDing make it look even worse? You want a beautiful game. Go to a tactical FPS.

And yeah, if you say BH is noobish it can't be for any other reason than the fact that YOU can NOT accomplish it! Just because some players are better than others and use better tactics does NOT mean the tactics are dumb.
