I think it is 100% legit, If your team is that bad to loose all your bases, you deserver to get base raped, I mean, what are we supposed to do, let you walk by us and get a flag? lawl

And If you take a chopper down ,you should never let it get back up, that would be the smart thing to do.

I don't like to base rape and I rarely do it unless someone is shooting at me out of their main. I think it's an easy way to get points and rarely does one enjoy it on the receiving end.

BF2 is about having fun.

if my team gets baseraped, theres just one reason why it happens, those idiots that got in the jets first, got shot down. the other team kept the planes down and they eventually push you to your uncap flag.

with the same team and ME in the jet, i kill every enemy vehicle and we push them back to their uncap.

planes play a significant role in your team winning. so if some guy keeps crashing or getting shot down, pop a cap in his arse so you can fly instead.

i just bring up the spawn point screen and leave it till the rounds over, no point spawning and dieing 30 times in a row, it just gives some nub in a tank more kills..

I only Base Rape if we got Base Raped in the previous round.

Other than that, base rape pisses me off to no end.

Since when did it become fun again? Seems like every time I play.

Its ashame we all can't go back to 1.03 days. Even with some of the bugs the game was good... Blackhawk rapage, Helicopters with 14 Dumb fire rockets.. mmmmm and AA that required a tad bit of skill!

it doesnt bother me. i just hate the hypocrits, they complain about baserapping and then they end up doing it themselves

Cheers Scinto. In that case, I'm cool with being base-raped. It's just a tactic really, if you're being base-raped then I guess you're rubbish.

Spawn-raping is crap though. Anyone doing that is a blend.

Correct.
When I started playing BF2 I enjoyed the game a lot and had really a lot of fun. But I messed up my stats

Since I'm trying to get my k/d above 1.0 (actually it's 0.84) I often get frustrated when I get killed several times in row without getting a kill myself.
I hate that. :cry: :laugh:

As I mentioned once in this forum, the ranking system and the statistics are really great but it destroys the game on the other hand.

Nevertheless I think that the point system is a great achievment as it makes the game be challenging even after a long time playing...
