I wanted to know if anyone agreed with this theory.
In the event that one side is losing a battle, the tide can easily be turned by placing 2 snipers hidden within enemy frontline flag and 2 hidden within enemy main(fields n crap u know)
Im guessing that people will do what they do best and get some sort of weird patriotic feeling by finding and killing you(instead of bunnyhopping to safety) thereby diverting troops, also (this is why m95 does not suck and those who can wield it are VERY valuable) with an m95 you can stop jets/choppers from taking off, or if you dont have one you could stop them from getting in but there are likely bunnyhopping.
I've seen this to be true in many instances, here are 2.
Mashtuur city, I was doing SL in chopper thing until I was shot down, My squad Immediately went to resecure south gas, hard fighting, when we took it we waited for blackhawk to spawn, but we where sniped at, one sniper with SVD one with m95.The chopper spawned(I had not yet realized one had an m95) and i got in, i was quickly shot out, meanwhile my squad is in a panic saying hes over there or there, the snipers where shooting and moving very good teamplay on their part, they caused havoc until the commander spotted them out. In all we spent about five minutes in chaos trying to find them, those 2 snipers kept a full 6 man squad, a 3-4 squad, about 3-4 lone wolves, and a chopper away from the battlefield and got more than 15 kills.
we lost that round.
Another situation was on wake, I bailed from my f35b at 600 and fell until i was BARELY not on the ground then chuted, I hid in the trees left of field and scored a headshot, I was then spotted, I killed the guy that found me then ran to a small sandbag bunker farther left of airfield(i chose it because of its rooftop, commander arty=snipers worst enemy) I put a clay in front and got in unseen, For about ten minutes I kept shooting and made nine kills, The commander called arty but the rooftop saved me, he spotted me but apparently the infantry where spacing out because they where still in a panic, it was the z10 that got me, it strafed the area where i was spotted until it finally came to a low hover in front of me and whacked me with a TV guided.
the round ended 1-0
I managed to keep about 5 players off the field for ten minutes and then z10 off for 1 minute.
I think this is what sniping is all about, although city sniping often requires in combat shooting if you can hide you can chnage the course of a battle by suppressing infantry and vehicles.
In the past people have said in guides that hiding is essential(we know), what im suggesting is that even in 32 v 32 a 1-3 snipers can create confusion among a few spawn points, keep aircraft down and diverting commander attention only for about 2-5 minutes and not have to do it again because the advantage will have effects farther down the battle, maybe you can even have a buddy steal a jet/chopper.
Comments on my theory.
