Battlefield 2.
Battlefield 2142 is miserable. It's mediocre, ugly to look at, dull, uninspired, and every other bad thing you could think of. I do think that it has an excellent unlock system and I wish BF2 could use the same thing, but Battlefield 2 is a far better game gameplay-wise.
