We were hacked. Several times over the past two weeks, in fact.
While all passwords are encrypted and salted, it's recommended that you change your password here when you can.
Someone tried to run me over with a jeep, i went prone, he passed over me and crashed into a building and he got out and i pumped him full of lead. Happened a long time ago but stands out as one of my more memorable kills.
You do realize the military don't use lead for bullets anymore?
Mine would have been the time on Gulf of Oman I took the Z-8 Transport Heli (aka The Flying Elephant) with my M95 and hid on the carrier. A pilot of the F-35 JSF flew by at low speed for repairs and I shot him through the glass.

I was on the north side of Wake in a tank and fired across the water and killed some poor unsuspecting sap on the south side of the island.....no idea how that is possible but cool none-the-less
This is gonna seem lame but on Wake Island I took the tank to the beach kinda late (scope kept zooming in and out like it was possesed). I noticed a boat going to the other beach and opened up with the machine gun. I couldnt kill him in time and he went too far to see. I knew he landed on the beach though so I fired a shell and I managed to kill two people who were still in the boat. My shot was high so im thinking they were going around to the beach or the base. A second later one of the killed said "This is why I hate Wake" I laughed and then felt bad because I hate tanks on the beaches too. I dont do it anymore.
Best kill for me would be when I shot down a jet with regular chopper missles when it was going at normal speed. Not easy to pull off and I liked the feeling...Got a 'he cheats' reputation after that and later got banned from the RIP server...RIP clan are pr1<ks
I was on Dragon Valley soloing a Cobra. One of my friends is the J10 and is coming at me full blast. I rotate, and at the last second get the TV off and nail him right in the cockpit.
The best part was, I had been trying to get him 5 or 6 times before this, but he would pull up or turn so I was getting frustrated. My poor friends on TS got an ear full.
edit:I ended up getting the other J10 pilot 2 times, got team switched and killed a n00b in a F35 who would slow way down, 3 times. So I got 6 total jet kills solo in one round.
how far can you see on wake before the enemy disapears into the fog? cos i was a sniper trying to take out a boat and i was having realy trouble and wasted an entire half a clip trying to get him so wen he disappeared from view i aimed real high like 1cm (as in [ ] that but vertical) above his head wen scoped fired and got the kill :) was well chuffed with my self.
was getting totally owned by one guy on Road Rage, no matter where I went he was sitting there in a tank ready to make me wait another 15.
So I spawned as SF and started to taunt him a little - told him to try and get me with the chopper, and I would wait for him in the junkyard at the AA - he fell for it and as he jump in the chopper - I red buttoned the C4 I placed on it...I was laughing so hard at him he killed me twice more be for I could get back into playing.:laugh:
was on gator as US, and was AT for all those boats coming in, they took the interior so i went to fight up close with my DAO, i ran round a corner and saw a guy running away so i fired 1 shot with my dao and nailed the 1st guy that ran around the corner just after it had killed his buddy that was following him. i was well happy i got a double kill :)
Hit a speeding APC on Dragon vally 3 times with my missile Eryx. The last shot was blind tracked after he had vanished into the draw-distance. He must have been going WTF?

And you realise they still do? Even the M855 Greenie tipped 5.56mm round has lead in it. Lead is one of the cheapest, most plentiful, easily mined, not seriously toxic dense metals around. It adds mass without adding bulk. It's used in everything form 5.56mm through to 50cal, including 9mm and .45 rounds.
There is talk of replacing the M855 5.56mm round with a new, more "enviromently friendly" round, but it will cost twice as much, and the current test development items suffer from ballistic instability.
Most military rounds for small arms on the market today are lead covered with copper jackets.
