To all them generals and colonels, how did you get there?

So yeah i have been playing a year + and have just under 12k i dont get how ppl get 100k and such... it just seems to be so hard...

any input generals, colonels, and leutenants?

Well you've only got just under 160 hours, they got there by playing 10 times as much as you, with twice your SPM.

yeah, I am sure time has a lot to do with it, because as with time you gain experience that helps get points quicker.

Go play some INF on big servers and you will gain a lot of points, play medic or support, and stay allive more then you die :-)

most of the that didd not get there through grenade spaming or statpadding either play in vehicles alot or play medic.

I'm not a colonel, or general yet; but with only 600 hours, and sitting pretty at 115,000 points with only Aviator and Armor badges to go, it won't be long before I grab my first General Star.

So... bragging aside, lets get to work.

When you play: listen, look and learn.

Don't just throw your hands up and wonder how you keep getting beaten to the punch when somebody kills you. PAY ATTENTION!

Find out how they did it. Don't just assume that everybody is cheating. Instead, steal their moves. Don't be afraid to jump and dive every now and then.

Find out why you're such a prime target all the time, and learn to use cover to your advantage.

Learn to think like the enemy, and learn to ambush them, rather than be the one ambushed all the time.

Keep an eye on the Mini-Map, and keep your ears open for any out of place sounds. This way you can know where your enemy is, before they know where you are.

Learn the problems, nuances and annoyances with every gun. Then learn how to compensate for them by aiming accordingly.

Do some homework, and read up on statistics on the game's weapons. Then read up on some tips for the game's kits. Then read up for some tips on the game's vehicles and the best way to counter-act them.

Watch videos of the best players in their element, and imitate their moves. Then improvise with their moves. Then improve upon their moves so that you can beat their moves.

Don't get bogged down playing only one map, vehicle or kit. You may be good in that particular area of the game, but if you're ever taken out of your element, you're about as useful as a poopy flavoured lollipop.

Personally I used to just play kubra for 10 hours a day... that stopped school got in the way.

I agree. If I could spend 10 hours a day playing I would have a lot more points and skill... :laugh:

Don't play karkand..

Play wake and jet/chopper whore or something.

You just get better over time in every aspect so naturally your SPM gets higher, so you'll notice pretty much every time you play you will be getting like 80+ points per round.

Full Blackhawk + Cap flags + Driver ability point + Driver kill assist = TONS OF POINTS
