Only the default (TGN Light) theme for now. Dark them is also coming back soon. Then CSN. Then Wrestlin' Nation. A lot of WIP stuff right now. There are a couple of things still not working either. Sorry.
Crap like this pissed me off, I asked the admin to even the teams but he said "rank doesn't mean anything". Ya right, private vs. 3 star general is fair right?
Stacked teams, Fair of Foul?
Plus, the best chopper team from the TWL 2vs2 ladder was on, Cletus and delta force, raping anyone, delta makes so sick missle shots.
I find it bull and I will switch teams to the team stacked against.
I play for a challenge and lets be honest rank does matter to some extent on skill.
you have to admit to some extent rank is a great guage for time played..which translates into experience with maps, weapons, tricks etc..
I for one knwo that when I pub server the biggest challenges I ever get are the butter bar and up guys.
Yeah you can play unranked servers all day and come to a pub and be the god like player with 100 ranked points and amaze all the higher ranks and make them think "WTF"...but thats such a small minority of people like that.
So many people play ranked servers, which in turn increase points, which in turn increase rank..so just that mass majority is enough to say rank does show someones skill to some extent.
want to be a good infantry man...keep playign and playign infantry.
want to be a good heli/plane pilot/tanker..keep doing it over and over again..
so in saying such Time = experience = rank..in 99% of the caseless.
rank doesnt mean anything pffft, rank means a whole lot, believe it or dont. It gives a general description of their stats. The average colonel will most definately beat the average staff sergeant. No chance in hell you can just not look at rank and not notice a skill difference.
Ok fine, they might have grenade spammed their way into 200k points heaven, but along the way they must have killed quite a bit of people otherwise. Its not like if they see someone catch them on a roof pooping off grenades, they will drop their weapons and get killed. They will be quick to their gun and probably kill you easily. Along those stat padding/grenade spamming/claymore whoring streak, they must have gained a lot of experience sometime or another.

clueless players piss me of, just runing\flying around doing nothing while our team is getting capped out
Agreed.
The stacked team may compound the problem, but it's really the idiots on my team that make me angry.
You can:
1. Switch teams to join the rape-fest ()
2. Ask them to even the teams up a bit (Yeah, right!)
3. Continue to take the pounding and the 1:10 K/D ratio to boot.
4. Find a different server.
I usually ask to even them up, and will stay in hopes that somehow they will get fixed eventually. I don't want to spend half my time of playing BF2 looking for a game to play.
Rank only explains time spent playing. It should give some indication of experience but does not indicate a player's value to a team. There are plenty of high rankers that are complete selfish pricks. There are plenty of low rankers that are oblivious to what is happening. The converse of both these statements is true too.
Higher rank means more time spent playing. It should mean better player, but doesn't.
AdamPA, I play on that server every now and then and normally don't see too much team stacking. Harvest is the kind of map that isn't totally dominated by airpower and it's the armored battles and flag capturing that win the round. Most times when I loose on that map, it's because people simply don't work together.
I agree with the above comments about higher rankers being more skilled in general. Yes there are exceptions, but those are clearly the minority. I also agree with Dave, that higher rankers don't always mean good team players.
what do you guys consider a noob, i have been playing games for 12 years or since the time of internet gaming, lol i have heard numerous people being called a noob for dumb reasons, im just curious on why. I could understand a private or PFC, i mean when i served in the military we used FNG's, ( for those who dont know its ****ing New Guy's) just curious on what you all define as a noob. Lol am i a noob because i am a sergeant?
for me, someone who's noob is not someone who just played the game for a short time
but someone who redlines, who tks for fun or for vehicle, who punishes, who cuts in line, who camps all the time and doesn't help team, who have more kills with grenades and claymores than their guns, or doesn't do anything while commandering
basically someone who's immature and doesn't understand that fun needs to be passed around the server
