It appears an attempt is made to allow the community to response to issues with BF2 in what maybe a possible patch update. It is not certain if a patch is forthcoming or not. However, the attempt has at least "round up the troops" sort of speak, to get them to address the problems with BF2 in a constructive and informative format. I think we all like to see at least 1 more attempt to properly fix this game without introducing more problems. I'm not going to waste my time. If they haven't got it right until now, they never are going to. Another patch is just going to switch one bug for another.

A petition to send the employees of the game developer back to school would be more productive.

in typical style of the whinging bf2 players, that thread is full of people making more gay suggestions. the OP's post on there, consists of things like giving claymores a time limit and other rubbish.

thats the problem with EA/Dice attempting to listen to what the Community want to be included in the game alot of people will give suggestions of what they prefer but not really considering the major flaws in the game itself that need fixed before anything else is implemented

If you think there are other issues, please by all means get involved.

This is not what I had in mind. Instead of insulting follow players offer suggestions. The reason why they listen to pubbers is that they are the ones voicing their concerns about the game. Where are the competitive players? Insulting pubbers in another forum???

I have communicated with Colin numerous times about this subject and it would have been nice to see it carried out.

Ranked Custom Maps.
I have purchased all the booster packs and I regularly play them all. But there needed to be more expansion into several of the great maps that were community made but never introduced to the ranked program. The life of the game could be extended for years to come just by adding more maps!

Map load times.
Corrected in 2142, but horrible for BF2. I have never ever ever seen a game with load times like BF2.

Integrate SF with Vanilla.
I play both worlds and I miss the tools SF has that vanilla does not. Also if there were not two different servers running, it might help the community.

Night/Day Modes.
Maps like Sharqi could have been amazing if it was like Midnight Sun.

Squad Leader Points.

Retrofit 2142 engine for BF2.
Well, this is a hard one, but I am sure many people here would love to have all the features that 2142 have, like map loading times, brought over to BF2. We would complain about a 2GB patch, but that should not be the excuse. In the end, we all would want it.

Transport Helo Guns.
Put the Havoc guns on the MEC transport and return the BH to former power. It think there would be balance at that point.
