By that, I mean 10,000 points in a round. Round after round for like a day. I don't know if it has been done or if it can be done but we will try. After that we will report ourselves. I want at least 70,00 in a day....if they don't reset for that I don't know what it would take. This is pretty much the only part of BF2 that I haven't tried in anyway so its only fitting that I get a shot at it before I stop playing for good.
That kind of extreme statpadding is IMO not even BF2 anymore. I mean it must be boring. Of course it's fun to gain points, but why?

I stat padded once, I got about 1000 points, and thought it was stupid, so I stopped.

Its not for the points man. I'm an imaginary Major General, points are even less fun to get then they were when I had just got the game. I'm simply saying that I and the other guys I mentioned have had a pretty much complete BF2 experience and when we decide its enough, we think it would be entertaining to do that and then see if anything is done about it (remember I said that we will be reporting each other). If anything this is just going to show what an utter joke the stats system is. This is going to be opening to everyone and we may do some advertising when it gets closer.....if by chance anyone would want to say goodbye to BF2 with us then look for more info sometime in late March with a date sometime in April.

I think every one stat pads. People would play this game differently if there wasn't a ranking system, it impacts the way you play... it really actually isn't about team play... it's about your stats... and that's how most people see it I think.

Me yes i do care about my stats , have i ever padded ? Well that for you to decide .

I love the ranking system for BF2 it keeps you hooked , just a shame no more games apart from carppy 2142 are designed that way .

                  Unless anyones knows better .

the only time i've ever statpadded, is when my friend and i were knife fighting for part of a round and i needed one more kill right at the end for the knife badge, and he let me kill him

                        Wiped!!!^^^^^^^^

lol. what exactly is stat padding? (and no i don't want the wikipedia link), ive played as medic for a long time before and earnt a lot of points, but ive found this is also the same case with support. the reason being that they are the two easiest kits to score team points with, ok , maybe combat too if you've got the G36E because of the unlimited restock of health and ammo, but is that stat padding? or is it like what mwillin said where you and a friend would let them kill each other for an award etc?

the most common form of padding is where you have 3 people.

2 people on one team, 1 on the other.

1 person knifes(shoots) the opposition. his teammate revives. repeat.

but yeah, i SUPPOSE it is anything like i stated.
                          what you stated isnt statpadding

My friends and I statpad on the demo alot. It's funny to see some poor guy who got taken against his will get killed and revived 300 times a round.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again,

                              Yes, I'm an *******.

Eddy has already statpadded - he won't stop making threads here.
