Dude, you say they do it for fun, but who ends up sharing in that fun? No one else... at least when not cheating you have the chance to interact and have fun with others... holy crap is that concept just too novel for cheaters?
And I love it, you say you cheated but refer to the unassailable 'they' instead of being honest for once and just referring to yourself. I call that being a big whimp and not owning up to what you are.
I'm sorry but as long as more cheaters crawl out of the woodwork (like rats) on this thread the more I will hammer:

Can there be some sort of informal list we can put together? I think the more exposed cheaters become, the harder it will be for them to pull their crap.
By they I ment the ones who cheat, I cheated in CoD and It was hilarious.
I don`t feel the need to have the community think good of me. I cheated and I admit it. I don`t hide it like it`s a murder. I just don`t give a damn.
Those people I played with didn`t buy the game, so they technically didn`t have the right to have fun with CoD (was a private server)
In it's early days CoD2 didn't have PB support so cheaters were everywhere and it was probably the most common topic around the CoD forums too...
Ah sorry, well every CoD2 player must have cheated at some point if they started playing right when the game was released. Don't know about CoD, but I remember it does have PB now.
Check this......just today in spec forces on Ghost town... the arty was being fired constantly and UAV's and supply boxes were everywhere!!
The was a guy on the other team called 'return.cpl' or something like that who tried to say it was me, hence the, unsuccessful, kickvote. Only thing is the UAV's are from the other team, hence the red UAV symbol. He then accused a few more people and started kick voting them...admin came in, kicked him eventualy and it stopped....cheating little sh*t!!
What do you do, when you know the guy does it, he tells you, and then tells you to go **** yourself?

Well, I'd tell you to sleep with his girlfriend, tape it, and then leave it in the post for him with a note saying, "Yeah, I slept with your girlfriend, but a lot of people cheat these days and we were bored and we were just trying to get some more enjoyment out of life." but a) he most likely does not nor has ever had a girlfriend or b) his girlfriend is so hideous that you couldn't manage an erection around her.

Well I'd have to say add 187 to the list played with them on SF and they were a bit too good they had a flawless K/D ratio at the end of the game although guess you never know maby it is a diffrent clan.
At least 4 of the AoW clan members can be added, just go to there IO server and look. They do not care if anyone knows they hack, they own the server, and apparently nothing can be done...

I don't trust anyone with 187 in their tag or name. Nothing significant about the number AFAIK, just the number used in a hacking "company"'s name.
I have only hacked in one game, Call of Duty. It was fun as hell. All the people whining, crying. You can`t imagine how hilarious it is.
And people screaming "omg get a life and a gf", thinking that I will stop or get hurt by those insults, lol.
Why don`t people realise that calling a hacker a loser etc. you do exactly what he wants, get raged and annoyed- he`s gonna keep going.
Thats why I never start screaming and kickin when I see a hacker, even when he`s on the 1st place.
I hardly believe there are hackers out there who actually hack to get the best place in the server. Seems kinda pointless. They do it for fun, majority of em.
What you are talking about is an extension of 'griefing', and is only one of the tool's a 'bored' player uses to terrorize others in-game 'for fun'.
