No, you're right, I can't say for sure they won't attack. I'm just basing my estimates on the current situation around the world. As it stands right now, no person in their right mind would assume China would attack the Middle East in the not too distant future. Of course, anything is possible in today's world. (I can definitely see them (China) attack in retaliation for a terrorist attack in their country.)
i could see china attacking. look at their poulation, they have over 1 million conscripted in the army, theyre gonna need more land space. plus i have a chinese mate and hes sure that china will one day over power everywhere!

really it wouldn't make sense. Ya it would be cool, Kalashnikov vs. Kalashnikov, but its kinda more like a balance. I mean America has accurate weapons, MEC and china have strong weapons. So it would really be balanced. Though, a AK-101 vs. AK-47 would be kinda cool though.

They'll probably go after Indonesia or Central Asia for oil first. They'd have to go through Pakistan/Afghanistan/India to get to the M.E. which would be no picnic. In any case, it's pretty easy to mod the maps to change the armies if someone wants to run an unranked MEC vs. China server (or play on a LAN or SP). All the clients would need to download the modded map package though so you'd need a link to a download location in the server info.
bf2 IS DESIGNED like that. Either Chinese VS USMC or Mec VS USMC. From the GAME USMC ARE THE MAIN CHARACTERS BUT THEY OFTEn LOSE
but what if you live in china or the middle east??? why wouldn't you appear to a broad spectrum of clients then the people that live in like EU and USA. i understand that the AF and EF that in and it appeard to a broad spectrum so did SF but the original Battlefield 2 doesn't appear to a broad spectrum
