Practice makes perfect. Hell I remember I used to suck really bad at flying a heli and a jet but now I am good and people fly with me but dont fly online only offline till your good play singleplayer Operation Clean Sweep for jets and Dalian plant for helos.

stand aroudn the spawn point and Tk anyone tryign to take your chopper.
Then once you get it theres two things you might wanna do.
When flying make sure you stay as low as possible, forget the fact that your gunner sees and can gun what is slgihtly under what your view is. There is no reason to fly high enough so that your gunner sees more then the ground 3ft below him or can not engage the opposing chopper ahead and above you.

If you are gunning make sure to never use the TV missle for anything.
If you see an enemy chopper, use the cannon only. Despite what peopel say the Tv missle is unguideable and can only be shot stright ahead at infantry.
If your pilot is spamming "spotted infantry/tank/heli" look the opposite way.
Sometimes just bail out for no reason, keep your pilot guessing why no one is shooting the cannon or Tv missle.

After doing all these things keep respawning at the chopper and trying to get in it no matter how horrible your doing. And by chance if someone does decide to gun for you when your flying, fly them to the red area and kill them since there is no need to use cannons and you can solo fly with Tv missles just as well as without a gunner.

i practiced and i can fly now...but i dont understand what the hell the pilots missiles do. i got 8 shots on an attack chopper and it just flew away

Soloing also = A glitch. AA locks get lost as soon as you go to gunner.
