wow how iggnorant can one person be.... im starting to think your a EA Fanboy seeing that your blaming BFROE because theirs still hackers.

Only for the obvious ones that have been around for over a year and have been reported dozens of times. ROE is a joke to the guys over at MPC.
Not that I mind, the game has lost any interest for me atm so have it.

Can someone please tell me what kind of retard reporter reports hearsay as fact? I've yet to see any teamkilling sprees that increase the persons score. I'm also convinced that it can not work unless the server is compromised or DICE ****ed up so bad that they couldn't be trusted to code a hello world program.

You guys all know how this works. Reporting to BFROE is like calling 911.
So the cops(BFROE people) show up and check it out and when they find a hacker they turn them over to the judge(EA). Even after that the judge might still decide to turn the bad guy (hacker) loose (do nothing). How can this be looked at as BFROE doing a bad job?
Enough of that! I have a small issue that I hope Indian Scout will at least give a little thought to. Here goes. There needs to be a way to turn in a short video clip showing a hacker in action. The reason I ask this is that I have seen some people doing things that you couldnt show on a screen shot. If, on the other hand, I could post a short (15 to 30 seconds worth maybe) video clip, It would be very clear that they were hacking and get them out of the game. (Just to clear this up, A macro wont show up on a screen shot but 2 or 3 short video clips, viewed side by side, would) Thats the small issue.
Last thing. I dont think that that magazine would have a problem with you posting that small exert here if you got people to buy a few copies that way. So can I go out and buy the isssue, with that article, now at my local news stand or book store? Thanks . . . . . . . .Red

There are just 2 macro or instances where macros are used that bug me. The first is the people who fly in the attack chopper by themselves and seem to be able to use all the weapons with ease due to thier macro use. The other is the people who do the drop roll and rapid fire with a pistol. Anyway, thanks for the responses! I sometimes feel like Im way out in left field, during the ninth inning no less. LOL. . . . . . . .Red

uhm.. ROE is doing its job by investigating and forwarding people to EAC(S).. EA /PB on the other hand are the ones not doing their job, ROE dont have the ability to globally ban someones GUID/Cd-key nor to reset their stats or remove players. ROE are just the middle man forwarding the complaints that have been investigated and do check out.

Can they do something along the lines of PunksBusted.com? Take COD2... many, many servers stream the Auto-MBL list from PunksBusted.com. Your GUID gets banned on there, it streams to loads of other servers. "Good like finding a decent server to play on". Works quite well. They also work with the Battlefield series.

It does take a macro to solo with maximum "pwnage" and with the minimum time spent for practice.

Also, ever tried guiding a macroes TV missile? Hold the left key down and just guide the missile where you want it to go? Its too easy...

I don't really know what BFROE does, but Punksbusted is fairly effective, or at least it could be. Too bad their admins often are not familiar with games they ban people from, so they're not aware of many things and I find their policy sometimes a bit stupid and restricted, which limits server owners willingness to use PsB. On the other hand, I don't know them very well.

And Chris, obviously you've never been experienced chopper pilot or macro user either. TV-guided autoclicker does not help you whatever you do. Period. In decent company for example, you can't aim the missile directly towards the enemy tank or w/e. You have to aim above until you're very close where you take the last click and blow him to hell. With macro everything is simply too restricted and complicated. It may work in standard conditions, but when you take choppers to their limits, tv-macro can't keep up with it.

Nah don't have the effort to make macros, I'm a lazy bastid :hmm:
I can solo "so so" right now, still figuring it all out. The couple of times I've tried it though I've seen accusations of macros and aimbotting.

I was just under the impression EA said macros were legal now... I remember a big thread about this not too long ago.

But this one doesn't. I just go prone hit the mousewheel button (which pulls out the pistol) and fire. Easy and fast. It's not a macro, it's common control settings. I found that out when I started plaing sniper and looked for a faster way to pull out the pistol.
