I've known of EA since the Atari days and after all these years I fear that if they dont understand that now, when are they ever going to?

They will understand it when their shareholders standup and say 'get your **** together.' If you read any financial journals/sites, and if you monitor their stock (like I do), the word has been really starting to sink into those investors that research what stocks/options they own. All the rumblings about quality and user base are starting to really show up after EA's stunning release of Madden. The stock peaked in November for an '06 high. But is has been sliding as people are recognizing the faults in it.

The best way to get a company to change direction is to hit them in the pocket book. And when it comes time for them to take their stock options bonuses and they are not meeting expectations, people will start to *****, and I am not talking about the 13 year olds on websites that don't have jobs.

            Tell me to QFT...

LoL, nice article, but did anyone notice that in the main screenshot, the people are raping the uncap of the US on Jalalabad? I don't really have a problem with it, but I just think its funny that they chose that picture.

Quoted For Truth? On your other post yes but I disagree with your outlook here. If what you are saying is true (I havnt tracked their SP recently) just the fact that theve seen a recent high will send them signals to carry on as is, these things are cyclical and its hardly a tale of dividends being dragged through the mire quarter after quarter, which is whats going to be needed for the dinosour to realise its in trouble.

While it makes sense about the hit them in the pocketbook theory, the public are fickle, they are not going to stop buying badly made crap from ea anytime soon.

ROE hasnt been doing its job well at any point. I still see the same hackers ingame. Even the guys that openly admit to it and have MPC accounts.

uhm.. ROE is doing its job by investigating and forwarding people to EAC(S).. EA /PB on the other hand are the ones not doing their job, ROE dont have the ability to globally ban someones GUID/Cd-key nor to reset their stats or remove players. ROE are just the middle man forwarding the complaints that have been investigated and do check out.

And lotsa BS there "one hack" this is talking about... Seriously, are you supposed to be professional on this? Hey HELLO! Don't people know difference between exploiting and cheating? At least that article doesn't. There's nothing wrong with exploiting, it's like joining a CS server with a decent aimbot. In two rounds everyone on the server knows you're cheating and that's about it. People either leave or admin bans him. No harm made. Of course it ain't the same, but just as clearly visible, and it does not harm others.

A hacker if someone knows how buggy BF2 and 2142 is. If it would be made better there writing cheats would be a lot more difficult. For example commander cheats are just a bug in game, nothing more.

And how's BFROE going to be involved in Quake Wars? Please don't tell me same stat(padding) BS is about to begin again...
                              ^lol

Well nice for in the magazine man Congrats. Seems ROE Is doing good.
