And lotsa BS there "one hack" this is talking about... Seriously, are you supposed to be professional on this? Hey HELLO! Don't people know difference between exploiting and cheating? At least that article doesn't. There's nothing wrong with exploiting, it's like joining a CS server with a decent aimbot. In two rounds everyone on the server knows you're cheating and that's about it. People either leave or admin bans him. No harm made. Of course it ain't the same, but just as clearly visible, and it does not harm others.

A hacker if someone knows how buggy BF2 and 2142 is. If it would be made better there writing cheats would be a lot more difficult. For example commander cheats are just a bug in game, nothing more.

And how's BFROE going to be involved in Quake Wars? Please don't tell me same stat(padding) BS is about to begin again...

Sniff sniff I smell (myself) a player with somewhat no life (with over.. what? 1500 ranked plus same non-ranked hours?), seen and heard everything if BF2. Seen tens of hacking clans, always played for victory, knows all exploits and tricks, can own you in an eyeblick. But never cheater and always respect others, even cheaters. And that article just made me laugh at peoples stupidity.

Not an easy case, they'd have to prove that they lost revenue due to the hacks. Even if they could, would it be enough to justify the expense of suing?

Good to see that BFROE is getting some attention from the printed media, I wish that EA would now make a further efforts to get more players reporting to BFROE!

EA just needs to recongize that having an organization like ROE would be like embracing the group that made Punkbuster when they were workingout of their garage. ROE is just going expand and any kind of advice they can get might help, because EA is keeping their budget for assisting them to a minium.

We need a more direct way of reporting.... Indian needs to have full power in accessing stats so issues can be handled faster. I'm sure he wouldn't mind getting paid to do something he already does for free now.... lol

I am not saying pay ROE just yet. They could be get better sponsorships and support. The speed they work at seems fine to me at times, because it would be so wrong if they rushed judgement calls and then they were wrong. The political fallout of that happening over and over would weaken the program for a long time to come.

Well, I am not saying take that long, but I am saying I don't think that someone should get everything wiped because they had one-off. It should be a couple catches in a few days. I like how they are observing actions over a period of time to make sure.

It does suck though if there are notorious groups that run around for an extended period of time pulling shystie s**t.
