Personally I like snipers in numbers provided they are on the other team, the most selfish useless kit does little or nothing to win the round, only good for a smoking break. Choose your poison and kill them all from a bush on the ground somewhere, because they all sit in the same spots round after round after round, bring it on!

I usually hang out on the TV2 servers (Dragon Valley 1 or 2 & Gulf of Oman 1 or 2). Just check my Jemme.sws if its on or not, because I play with that account atm.

Ill be on this afternoon I hope, but there are some ping issues with TV2 so I could be on the Battleforce server (UK) or Kifferstuebchen (NL).

I am not the run & gun type of sniper so I dont know if you like the relaxed type of game I play :)

cool, hard to find a half decent sniper. I prefer to get in there (hence the KDR of 1.67) I've added you so let me know where and when.

I generally frequent Addicted-2-Games 24/7 Ghost Town, or, if that server is full, I'll search for another 24/7 Ghost Town.

Ok, this may lead to the situation what was described in the first post, but may I join with you fellows. I'm not too bad either and I've always enjoyed when hooked up other good snipers. Infantry has no chance in hell no matter what when 2+ decent snipers are covering some area. I also play in TV2 but UK servers are mostly fine also.

I have no problem with snipers, I have the most fun playing sniper kit. I dont care for points that much anymore i just try to have fun now.

Yeah, and I play a game to have fun, and having fun is inherantly hard when half of your team is a freaking Sniper.

I guess I should withold every opinion I have, since many of them may be complaints.

there appears to be a serious bias towards the l33t (ahem bu****it) sniper kit these days. it seems we have the enigmatic player, the lone wolf, the sniper. the only worse thing than a sniper is an 'ex' sniper. yeh thay may have changed kit but they still forgot to help their team and will under all circumstances proceed to camp any available roof that will ensure 4 random kills in the whole round. its funny how they know to run around and throw (spam spam spam) claymores in highly thought out strategic positions (see nearest flagpole) but when the day comes they realise other kits are pretty damn handy......can they throw a med bag or ammo pack......i didnt think so.

I disagree, When I play (mostly on SF servers), Sniper most of the time I'm the lone guy protecting a flag, Yes the clays can be anoying but they are force multipliers when you are sitting alone there.

As well as team play. I'm always on a team and in SF the Zip line can be a great Squad tool to get to flags quickly.

Nearly every server I join is infested with Snipers.

Here's a tip.

If you are dying more than you are killing, you are not doing your job. Switch to another kit.

It's almost impossible to play with all the Snipers runing around, thinking they're hot ****.

All I can honestly say is your an idiot.

If someones not doing good with sniping, how else will they get better? They need to keep sniping to get better.

And another thing, who cares if they're not doing well as a sniper? Its qabout having fun, not about satisfying you.

I myself am a sniper, and I usally (90% Of the time) keep my kills above deaths, but I still completely disagree with your opinion.

Bad snipers can't become good snipers without practicing.

Funny. It seems nearly half of the people who have replied have failed to read the entire thread.

As I have already mentioned, I did not say Snipers are useless. I said way, way too many people think they are some sort of expert Sniper (usually only limiting themselves to the Sniper kit), and thus, nearly every map is filled to the brim with Snipers.

Snipers are not useless when there is a minimal amount of them. But when half the team is a Sniper, they are useless.

If you see that half of your team is playing as a Sniper, and you almost exclusively play Sniper yourself, I suggest that you switch to another kit. You will be a much bigger asset to your team.

Seriously, try playing Ghost Town anf losing 10+ rounds in a row because more than half of your team refuses to switch from the damn Sniper class.

to all the sniper kit is the hardest we have no amour it takes us two shots unless we hit in the head plus after each shot we have to pull the bolt back unless your mec and your using the auto but if you try to fire the auto to fast you have to let the barel settle down.the sniper is one of the hardest kits to play

Actually, I would prefer that the Sniper was HARDER to play, if anything. And no, the Sniper is not the hardest kit to play. Big crosshairs, ultra-accurate and powerful weapon, claymores, the ability to pick battles.

If the class was a bit more challenging, I assume I would see less Snipers running around.

As of now, nearly all other Snipers I encounter have died much more than they have killed. THESE are the Snipers that need to try a different kit for once.

And of course, Sniper is one of my favourite kits.

Once again, before you act like a child and call someone who may have a different opinion that you an idiot, I suggest you read the entire freaking thread.

Look, I have no qualms with new people picking up the Sniper kit. Merely pointing out that the game is incredibly hard, and aggravating, when nearly half of your team is playing as a Sniper.
