blizzard, I ordered my copy from here.

It is a Czech site which offers Worldwide shipping.

Although at this point, I would advise buying the German version, as the Czech version comes with StarForce and the German version does not. There will also likely be a full translation out fairly quickly for the German version.

You could try Amazon.de for the German version, although I'm not sure if they ship worldwide.

Should run reasonably well, although don't expect to run with maxed out graphics AND a huge view distance.

I can play battlefield for hours at a time on all highest settings sure i can handle it

I am planning on snipeing in AA soo if i can't see too far i willl just turn a few settings on medium and turn veiw distance up plus, if it dont look to good i will upgrade my motherboard and turn my SLI on

I can play BF2 for hours all maxed out too, but when I play OFP my PC just can handle full view distance, its crazy. With Arma it will be even more, although the engine is prolly more optimized so who knows.

Because Arma includes a view distance of over 9km whereas BF2 features a view distance of 200-300 maybe?

That and BF2 was released in mid 2005 and ArmA was released in late 2006?

If you can see 9k+ you should be able to nail people over 2800m with a barrett if their is one in the game.

Not sure. I think the farthest you can ever hope to get somebody from is around 6000 metres. Of course, you will have to factor in bullet drop, wind, movement, etc etc.

If your getting into bullet drop and weather conditions, this is gunna be my new game Gunna hook myself up with a m107 barrett and nail these basterdz like jesus the carpenter!

I really don't think Armed Assault will be very successful. That's part of the reason I don't wanna get it, because there might not be many servers. It's not very hyped at all. I think there won't be a serious threat to the Battlefield series or the fanbase until Quake Wars.

There is now way that ArmA will be even remotely successful as BF2 for the sole reason that the difficulty will put a lot of people off.

ArmA will have a VERY dedicated community, though, and finding a game should never, ever be a task.

Also, here is a list of the weapons scheduled to be included at launch.
