Definitely considering it, I'd love to play a demo first though, or read some reviews. It does look up my street, I'm not fussed too much about graphics, gameplay is more important.

For the people complaining about the graphics what are you guys smoking
This game looks better on low settings than BF2 on ultra high and the map fully loaded is 400km squared!!!
This game will be incredible - 200 players on a server at once, huge cities, a huge singleplayer campaign. Can't wait to get my hands on it

I dunno... sorta looks like a cleaned up 'DeltaForce: Landwarrior' to me...with tanks...and smiles.

Indeed, I loved DFLW and the rest of the Delta Force series. Having a DeltaForce maps, with loads of vehicles will be a lot of IMO.

Yeah, Well it doesn't look that good. If the gameplay is solid I would play it, but I've seen better, Call of Duty 1 and 2 for example, even old operation flashpoint was pretty good. Hell, BF2 is still pretty damn solid.

Gee, a BFROE admin thinks BugFilled2 is solid, shocker.

Does anybody know if they'll have meaningless Ranks and or ROE crap? If so then I wont get it.

there was abit of flying a harrier in one of the videos, not enough to get an idea of what its really like, but showing you a few things like it has targetting boxes and you shoot missiles at tanks, not just bombs.

They likely won't have the downloadable version up until after the 505 Games release (in Q1 of 2007) - so you could be waiting for a while.

I really don't think Armed Assault will be very successful. That's part of the reason I don't wanna get it, because there might not be many servers. It's not very hyped at all. I think there won't be a serious threat to the Battlefield series or the fanbase until Quake Wars.

ive been looking at this game for a while,and i must say im impressed indeed.

its like mixing bf2 with americas army with the operation flashpoint scale(thats just my way of explaining it)


sniping on this game will be a art no doubt.

ill still play bf2 now and then,but when i want realism,ill be putting this game on.

agreed the game has not been hyped up(like other games bf2?)

but that makes it more appealing,more of a surprise when you play it.

this game will no doubt be for mature gamers,no dust(well maybe on roads when a tank is driving but not from head shots lol ) i would have thought.

it wont have titan's and unlimmited grenades,but im sure it will be better than bf2 in everyway.

its a case of whatch this space,and when the game comes out,stay low and in cover if you on a server with me or i wil have to snipe you good and proper :)

hm, whats your reason for saying it wont be succesful? Operation Flashpoint was a very popular game.

but you probably are right, in that it wont be a serious threat to bf2, i dont think any game could stop stat whores fighting over karkand hotel :laugh:

TBH the marketing has been piss poor and the realism and dificulty of the game will mean it will get average if not poor results from game reviewers. But none of that could stop me seeing the genius and potential of this game - it's just such a shame that others can't or won't
