    I cant stand playing Karkand. It's a great map, but players sit on their brains when they play it. It's they way they act when playing it that drives me to drink.

      Well winning is good, and its good to aim for it. However, as most of you know if you get to concerned with winning you have no time to enjoy the game.

        Just so you know, You are not going to drive a Team to victory if you are not having fun.

        Having fun is the main key, Alot of people try to hard and don't realise that they are not having then agian you have this that sets people from People who do not want to win/Then you have the People who care about points and not winning/Or people that are just Straight competitive.

            I don't need incentive to win. I just want to win. Other's don't have the drive to win. I guess not all of us are created the same. I just don't understand the "I don't care who wins" mentality. Welcome to the modern day though, where they teach kids "It's not about winning, it's about having fun". Yeah, that's what the losing team says.

            Heck, in some cases, one skilled player in a one-man squad can change the outcome of a game. I swear I have been on servers where if I WASN'T CAPPING, we would have lost even faster :/

              But it is about having fun, BF2 is a game, games are made to be fun. Fair enough winning is fun to. But if your sole purpose is to win then where is the fun in that?

              There might be Ive never really tried to win all the time, sometimes its best just to go with the flow.

                I agree. Sometimes I get so frustrated because we are not winning, for one reason or another (many out of my control), then I wonder why I'm getting so upset. I try to remember it's just a game, and that winning or losing is not going to reflect on me personally.

                It all depends on what mood I'm in I guess. I just hate losing for stupid reasons. I try to calm down and play a few games simply participating and trying to neither win or lose (like just snipe to calm down).

                So yeah, if I'm not having fun anymore, perhaps taking the burden of 'having to win' off for a bit helps.

                    There's a small and big difference between "points" and "points per minute".
                    While I must have around 2.5 SMP in "regular" BF, I clocked my IO SPM to be near 6.0

                      I think I got a far higher SPM in a transport vehicle capping morons in Mashtuur, than I ever did in IO mashtuur capping morons with a RPK or G36C.

                      My K/D ratio has risen exponentially since I started playing IO on a regular basis though. My SPM is rising painfully slower though. Hence why I play normal servers still.

                      Of course, I'm not crazy enough to 'clock' it by making a new account to rival my old account. Of course your new account is going to have a much higher K/D Ratio, W/L Ratio and SPM, since it's not bogged down with the learning curve you had to suffer when you first started playing the game.

                          K/D Ratio = Kill/Death Ratio
                          SPM = Score Per Minute
