I've been playing PR since the first release and it's great to see the community grow.

Everything about the mod is top notch, and it's amazing what the team has been able to do with the very limited engine.

The best thing is that teamwork is really rewarded and emphasized. It's very, very rare to see some lone wolf rambo running around.

Only thing I'm not liking is there isn't a sniper kit....granted there is a pickup kit (which I've yet to find) and the only servers that have this mod are thousands of miles away (read latency issues) I can only play via lan :hmm: .

The Sniper is a restricted kit. To use it, you have to request it.

Stand within a close radius to a flag held by your team, a friendly APC, or a supply crate and press the 't' button (note that you MUST be in a squad to request kits). Select the kit you wish to request from the menu and if a kit is available, it will spawn at your feet and you will be able to pick it up with the 'g' key.

Yeah my squad(on ghost train) was making a deffensive perimiter in the forest when the PLA swarmed us, it was freaken amazing, okay And hwenever i play insergent maps i put a vehicle loaded with explosives in the middle of the road and wait for enemy vehicles to come by...its like and IED...I LOVE PRM(no more mini)

that looks like a mad mod. Istarted downloading it (got 56% done) but I had a power cut, my question is if I start downloading it again will it atart from 56% or start from 1%?
It looks like an amazing mod I don't know why i've been putting it of for so long.

Not sure.

DId you download the torrent magnet or the direct download?

If the torrent, it should probably start from 56%, but don't quote me on that.

When im playing prmm i notice i move up in rank during the game but then when i leave and rejoin the server the next day, my stats are back to private. why is this?

Most of the servers hosting the mod are using ABR ( alternative battlefield ranking ) wich is the same thing but is not your ea score some servers do have stats memory and you can gain ranks on them but if say you got promoted to a PFC in one server then went to another , you would be a private

Go up to a friendly flag and hold 't' and you can request the sniper kit form the quatermaster

Muttrah city has to be my fav map. Just doing circles in the LB providing covering fire while dropping off SL's = fun.

Meh I like Albasrah the most, I like Hills Of Hamgyoung but it CTDs very quickly and EJOD desert looks good but I can't even get on it without crashing to desktop

Al basrah is awesome, although it needs some more balance which I have been told will be fixed. I dont like the chinese maps . EJOD Desert is by far my favorite map. The choke points are awesome all you hear is bullets snapping by your head.

its not like vanilla bf2, where you spawn with it.

go to a flag or supply point and press "T" and select sniper kit

heres a little tip when playing Mutrah city as US. if u have a full littlebird.
have one of them use the support kit. u can supress the enemy while ur troops move in.
