its only one missile though, and the jet looks in good condition. BF2: it would only be smoking after the hit. Real Life: Fuselage is gone, pilot is dead.

actually I've heard it will sometimes take more than 1 missile to take down a jet.

mabye if the jet gets REALLY lucky and the missile explodes early or something. but if it contacts the plane and explodes on it, the tail is gone. if the tail is gone the fuel is going to burn in the lines and blow the tanks on the wings or belly. if that happens the cockpit is going to explode from the concussion around it.
